The outside backer if 3 wideouts formation should become at least a safety nickel sub because you give me a wideout vs a outside linebacker I'm going to exploit him and the safety who is going to have to help him all day with that wideout and the tight end making him lost in space . Only case i would keep a the backer out in space is in the redzone and then most likely I'm not playing cover 4 but cover 2 or cover 6
Here is where Sabin got really nuts. He gets really multiple with the match coverages with stump, stubbie. box, cut, clip, etc., and complicates it by splitting the field into two different coverages. Geez. Do high schools, colleges, and the NFL really handle this stuff?
