The fact that people meatride these type of Tiktok ass comments is shocking. When u enter comments to check more about this topic but we instead see the average 12 year old replies from previous videos is astonishing

A common anti-dandruff shampoo contains ketoconazole (typically otc, although there are prescriptions for stronger ones). As for the mechanism of action, ketoconazole blocks the synthesis of ergosterol in fungal cells.😅
Im a doctor, thats seborhhoeic dermatitis or oily dandruff, treated by avoiding hair oils and using a ketocomazole shampoo or else selenium sulphide topical lotion, theres also dry dandruff which isnt due to this yeast but due to the increased turn over of cells owing to dry conditions such as in winters, treated with cocount oil , less shampooing and using conditioner after shampoos
Great is there any solution to solve this problem I am also facing dandruff problems and even after washing my hair twice after sometime the dandruff comes back
I think washing your hair too often reduces scalps natural oil and makes it dry. But if you dont shampoo (i use anti dandruff) your hair enough it makes the case worst. Based on my own experience 😅
I have terrible dryscalp, even after wash my hair once it gets dry my head starts to itch so bad and the flakes fall off... 😩 And it makes me feel bad because I'm afraid people would think I have dandruff
try to mix hair oil with ur shampoo while washing. it works for me. one pump to one pump shampoo. if not two pumps to one pump shampoo. i use olive oil and put it into a pump bottle. try it. clean ur scalp thoroughly make sure to massage it in. @@jani_lia
Yeah I was like umm thats not what my doctor told me. I have a medical condition that has nothing to do with fungi. My body just naturally has replaces the dead skin sells faster than an average person.
Malassezia dont pose any threat to your health, and believe it or not, some scientists have even found that they defend your scalp from pathogens that might cause u harm
Btw for everyone here; dandruff arent the worm thingies, theyre the reason dandruff is there. Dandruff is the oil and skin cells combined so its basically dust+oil
Should also say that the fungus is overall beneficial, since it is great at keeping worse and more severe bugs, bacterias and other fungus infections from taking place, a lesser evil in the grand scheme of things.
Oh my, I had dandruff on my head twenty weeks ago. I was like scratching my head like crazy(mostly bc it was so itchy but we don’t talk about that.) I was showing it off to my brother, but he was sleeping on the couch, so I couldn’t wake him up. The next day I already forgot to tell my brother and a few days later I remembered, so I showed him the dandruff, but it was gone. My brother couldn’t stop laughing. I know why now😅
I agree with Joy. I heard about Clark and Angel Reese at the same time. Then Joe Biden’s wife talked about wishing both of them could come to the white house and that became a controversy. Then it had the 3 point competition against Steph. Maybe that played a factor as well. That brought attention to Clark. Then came the rematch from last year. Now they are talking about her because she is struggling and getting pushed around
The fungus in question here is Malassezia. Even though this video is correct in what they do, the visuals are a little bit misleading. They do not have legs or feet, and they are not similar, looking to a worm or caterpillar like species. In fact Malassezia fungi are not capable of active movement like animals or some other microorganisms. They typically stay in one place and grow on the surface of the skin, particularly in areas rich in sebaceous glands, such as the scalp, face, and upper body. While they don't move on their own, they can spread to adjacent areas by various means, including direct contact or through shedding of infected skin cells. If you want to know what they look like, just google them. however, just for context they are just a bunch of cells
What they’re showing in the video are called demodex, or face mites. They’re microscopic arachnids that live in your pores and eat your dead skin and oils, and everybody has them, whether you have dandruff or not.
If you have dandruff, go to a dermatologist, I’ve gotten some very cheap medications that just go right on your scalp, it disappears in less than a week and will stay gone if you’re consistent with it
As long as future games are allowed to be fully creative with their characters, worlds and stories and have battle systems that actually work and don‘t straight up waste time, I think few people will complain about huge new ideas. All Origami King introduced are these ring puzzles that get old real fast and it was otherwise just less than the first trilogy, in terms of characters, battle system depth (seriously, no XP are so dumb, implementing them is such a no-brainer; so not doing it just seems petty by the developer‘s part) and story, which once again just emphasised how everyone is fake and Paper is sooo fucking funny.
Its not always that. A dry scalp is often confused for dandruff, shampoo and detangle your hair, and use a gentle leave in conditioner when out of the shower. Protect the hair during the night it goes away
I get dandruff especially after I wash my head only in the front area. on the third day it is no longer so visible, but the cycle repeats itself after each wash. does anyone have any idea what is going on?
@ChyuChyLuChyFyLutChy This happened to me a long time ago before. Try this shampoo Dove Anti Dandruff Shampoo Dryness And Itch Relief You can put the shampoo In your hair once , rinse out then put it in again and make sure you get deep in your hair , it helps to use a detangler and if you have short hair a brush will be fine ( I used to do wash and styles for waves) then moisturize your hair after with this leave in Johnson's Baby Curl Defining Tear-Free Kids' Leave-in Conditioner If you notice it's coming from your hairline area for me it was because I was over doing it with the conditioner (not leave in I'm talking about the conditioner you put in while showering and rinse out, once I stopped using that so much and used this leave In conditioner instead it stopped immediately) Give it a try , good luck
@sunset6958 thanks for the tips! I partially tried what you say. I gave up conditioner/hair mask for a while, but it seemed that flakes appeared just like before. I have long hair and I use an anti-dandruff shampoo from head and shoulders. I thought that my skin might be too dry, because even on the forehead the skin is quite dry after the shower and this also extends to the hair, combined with the cold weather... I tried until I gave up with moisturizing face cream on the scalp😂
@ChyuChyLuChyFyLutChy yea, I used to use the 2 in 1 head and shoulders classic and would just wash my hair with it every day and nothing else(the other ones for some reason, didn't work well). it worked, but ofc my hair would be so dry and nappy, when I tried getting waves I had to get off that because you need soft moisturized hair for better curls😅 I also noticed that once I used the combined head and shoulders with built-in conditioner the flakes returned and it was even itchy . For me, avoiding using conditioner on my hair every day helped a lot(the ones you have to wash out after applying) , and sticking to just that leave in was my solution. ( I don't even really condition my hair that much anymore , just use water and the leave in conditioner, and that's it) I'd try that baby leave in I posted earlier and see how your hair reacts to it (I also stopped using head and shoulders a long time ago and use the dove shampoo instead , head and shoulders was too drying) if it doesn't go away I'd see a dermatologist and make sure it's nothing else but they'll probably just give you ketoconazole 2% shampoo or some Nizoral (been there before I figured it out , didn't work lol)
Used to have so many issues with dandruff but then I started using tar shampoo and it worked so well in getting my scalp back to normal. Nowadays I only need to use it once every few months or so to keep it healthy!
As someone who thought that dandruffs were just those small whitish dry skin flakes which was caused due to not washing the hair properly, I was MOST DEFINITELY NOT ready to learn this.
You Can have dandruff (white flakes) even if you do wash properly. Some is caused by fungus, other by conditions such as seborrheic dermatitis. The fungus is pretty common and the vast majority of people have it on their heads but some people are more sensitive to it which causes irritation, skin cell turn over and itch.
shampoo everyday, and apply dettol water on scalp for two weeks, see if it improves. you still need to keep hair clean(shampoo 2x weekly) and eat healthy food though.
Actually, I have a really bad dandruff problem just from genetics (lucky me) but my problems were all solved when I discovered Selenium Sulfide. Which completely stops the dandruff. It's been a life saver.
Well this is actually only one cause of dandruff and a specific kind of dandruff called Seborrheic Dermatitis. But it’s not the only cause of that either. It can also be caused by systemic inflammation somewhere in your body.
There are other causes aswell, like psoriasis which does the same thing (skin cells multiply quickly) but without the fungus part. If the dandruff generally comes in larger flakes, its usually psoriasis.
Dandruff is a common scalp condition that causes white or gray flakes to appear in your hair and on your shoulders. It is usually caused by the overgrowth of a yeast-like fungus on the scalp. Regularly washing your hair with a gentle shampoo and using an anti-dandruff shampoo can help manage and reduce dandruff. It is important to maintain good scalp hygiene to prevent dandruff from recurring. If dandruff persists despite using over-the-counter treatments, it is advisable to consult a dermatologist for further evaluation and treatment.
No, those are demodex mites. Also fungus isn't just hyphae and a spore producing stock. Yeast is fungus and yeast is just cells. So this could be a relative of or even a type of yeast.
