One of Hamas' biggest supporters is the regime in Iran, which has a goal of destroying Israel.
Iran's influence reaches far beyond Hamas that was responsible for the terror attacks in Israel on October 7. The clerical regime in Tehran is using a network of proxies, stretching from Israel's border with Lebanon, to Iraq, Syria and the Red Sea. All of these proxies are part of a strategy against Israel and its main ally, the United States.

Simply, because those host countries were begging the US to set up those bases. If there were no US bases in that region, it would've been worse. For example, Saudi may invade Qatar, Iran May invade the whole arab gulf, Turkey may invade the northern part of Syria and Iraq.

There's nothing to criticize. They're at least trying to maintain stability and balance in the region. They're protecting shipping lanes and are cooperating with their allies who want to.

@@ml7918 The IDF soldiers probably aren't the best example, since the Orthodox men of Israel, most of them Ashkenazi, aren't conscripted like everyone else. That needs to change. Israel isn't perfect but it's much better than Hamas.

If u are in the military and refuse you arent following orders, I got no problems with any military firing a soldier for that. I also have no problem with nurses and doctors losing their job either cause they need to take it so that they can work with their patients.

And as far as following orders, you take an oath to defend the Constitution, not a dictatorship who seizes power.
