We never really expected to make it to such an iconic, difficult to get to destination, but when your mom is in Chile and says “let’s go to Easter island,” we just couldn’t say no. Hope you enjoy this 35 minute video of our 4 days on the island! Do you plan to visit Easter Island in your lifetime?! 🤗 Also! We are trying to hit 15K subscribers by the end of this year so if you’re not subscribed and want to help get us there, please subscribe! 🙏 thank you 🥰
A Rapa Nui here!! Just an amazing video and i really recommend if you come back to stay more days, 3 days isnt enough for this island, i recommend MINIMUM 1 week so you can rest, adventure and just walking through Hanga Roa, but yeah, amazing video!
@@shineautomotive Lucky you! I'm going in september for the chile national day! I recommend that you get some resting days and explore the town (1-3 days) and then you can go to the Moais and the beaches, etc...
Daw thank you so much!! You are SO SWEET. We are so glad to have been lucky enough to visit Easter Island!! It is such an iconic place. We loved it! Next time we really hope to be able to spend at least a week there, hopefully more! Cheers and thanks so much for your support and for watching! 🥰
Great video! You guys are a blast. I was born in Chile - raised in Northern California. I miss Chile very much. I'm very happy that you got to visit Rapa Nui!
Thank you so much!! You are so sweet. 🥰 We want to visit Northern California! And we miss Chile too. We are back home in Washington State now. Thanks so much for watching! We're so glad you enjoyed it! Take care! 🤗
It’s so nice to see their excitement when they landed and they checked on the map where they were. And his mom was so cute too, since she wanted to go in the first place, such a wonderful family. Welcome to Chile !!
Daw thank you!! 🥰 yeah it was just so fun! An island in the middle of nowhere with insane statues on top. What a treat! Hope to make our way back some day 🤗
Wow !! nice job and terrific editing, congrats, like . Hope I´ll be there next september. The rapa nui guys looks handsome, hope find someone who teach me the island and more, of course, dance
Thank you so much!! It was our pleasure we loved this country! And it took a LOT of time to edit but we are so glad it turned out well. Hope you make it out there in September! 🥰
Hello again, what a beautiful and well filmed. Nice place, amazing shots, i’m loving this channel since your Santiago video. Take care and go to Pucon and Puerto Varas, if you are into germany style of towns, taverna, volcano landscapes, big forests and lakes. ❤
Thank you SOOO much!! You are so sweet. We will have to visit Pucon and Puerto Varas the next time we are in Chile!! We'd love to visit the Germany side of the country. 🥰
Just came back from there 2 weeks ago! It was amazing! Caught the beautiful flowers in bloom too. Lucked out with a solar eclipse happening while there. We had no idea until we arrived and our guide had the protective glasses ready for us.
Awesome video, I was there november 2023 and i saw the same caramel dog in the rocks in the natural swimming pool, he was sleeping and I took a video of him haha what in the world!!!! Epic place!!
Muchas gracias por visitar isla de pascua. 🇨🇱.
I visited the island on 2018, an amazing experiencie, i stayed there for 8 days, and i couldn't visit all the places, so i hope to come back again some day, I dont know if you are still touring for Chile, but if you are, i would recomend to visit the south, is trully beautiful
That's awesome!! An amazing island. We loved it and hope to go back some day! We were lucky to visit Punta Arenas, but that's it. We really want to go to puerto natales and torres del paine next time! 🥰
Nice video, i like you enjoy the island, is a treasure for Chile, in some moment a little abandom by chilean gov, but now its a landmark for tourism and image of chile outside our frontiers, regards from chile 😊😊

That’s so fun! Amazing! So glad you were able to visit Easter Island. How long did you go? It makes us so happy that you enjoyed our little video. Thanks so much for the message. 🥰❤️
@@WyattandReyka I stayed there for 5 days near where the Ahu Tahai is, God bless the weather was perfect throughout the entire, and I can't agree with you guys more about Rapa Nui being an island of true paradise. I was deeply drawn to not only the tropical island vibe, but also its history and unique culture. If it weren't for the travel logistics being so difficult, I'd love to go back again some times in the future.
Grato
Hi there!! Thank you so much! 🥰 So we walked around for two of the days, and one of the days got the guide Hugo from Kivi Kivi Tours 🙏 highly recommend he was a blast
Thanks for making this video! It is really helpful to know what to expect and to see how excited you were. Also, it's great you brought mom along. You'll be happy about that one day in the future that you shared that time together. Could you answer a question about cash/cards. Do they accept credit or debit cards there? Also, how is tipping handled? Finally, did you like your tour guide/agency? I believe you mentioned Kava Kava? Thanks again so much!
Hi Michael!! 😀 Thanks for the awesome comment. Yeah to this day we are SO grateful we were lucky enough to go with my mom on this adventure. It’ll be a memory we cherish forever. Cards worked great for us everywhere! We only needed cash to rent the surfboard! We tipped about 10 - 15% on average around the island! Not sure if that’s more than average, but everyone was so helpful we wanted to 😊 And kava kava was AWESOME! Our guide, Hugo, was amazing. If you have any other questions feel free to shoot them over. Best way to get ahold of us is by email us@wyattandreyka.com 🥰 Have an awesome trip!!
Great video! How’s the prices of all the tours though? I read online that walking and exploring on your own is not allowed anymore, did that impact your enjoyment? Cheers from Amsterdam
Great question! Yeah, you need a tour guide for many of the sites. I’m not sure how strict this rule is enforced, but we were only there for a few days and didn’t have the flexibility to test it out and try to go ourselves. And the prices are… pretty expensive. We opted for the flexibility of a private tour and shelled out 200$ each for a full day. It was 100% worth it tho as we learned a TON and could each ask lots of questions. But yeah it was pricey. Love the island tho hope we can make it back someday. Cheers and let us know if you have any other questions!! 🥰
@@WyattandReyka thanks for responding :) The island looks beautiful, would love to go there someday. 200€ each sounds pricey but then again, it is a beautiful and a once in a lifetime experience🗿Have a great day and good luck with your channel!
Hopefully you can make it there some day!!! It’s literally so beautiful. Of course, Amsterdam is gorgeous too. Thanks for the good luck wishes on our channel! We’re trying to make this our full time job but it’s difficult haha. And definitely worth it to take the tour if you go to the island. Cheers and thanks for being here 🥰
My uncle is from the Counsil of the island and tells me that while they do appreciate tourism giving jobs on the island, they are still very mad at the airport thing, so if you guys can like share more of their struggles to make awareness it would be nice :) Some of the people in Chile dont even know that the land that the airport is on is actually a private one that the state has not given back
Hi there!! We feel strongly for you and your uncle and respect you for standing your ground. Right now we don't feel educated enough to give an opinion on this issue, but it seems like this long runway isn't needed anymore? Like, who is fighting to keep it as such a behemoth lol? Not sure if someone has a good reason for keeping it so long, as the space shuttle was retired in 2011 lol
Maybe? We hadn’t heard of any fire, but now that I think about it, I heard about a fire that maybe messed with some of the statues a little bit. Not sure. Glad you enjoyed our video! It was a blast to make 🥰🙏🗿
Estudia! No te arrepentirás 🥰
Place that you have to visit in Chile , Pucon and to do a K noppy in salto la china a very beautiful waterfall , the salto del laja , the biggest waterfall of Chile , termas geometricas, the best water thermal of Chile , the magic waterfall , the water raise to sky instead to fall to ground visit Chiloe , Castro, Valdivia , try to see a minga , minga it is a party that the poeple do when move a house , literally they move the houses in the sea like boats and move by ground pulling by cows , visit the ghostown humberstone , el gigante de atacama the figure more biggest of the world in the dessert and visit Iquique , cerro dragon , dragon hill , the dune more bigger of the world that you can practice skateboar in the sand
Thanks so much for responding. I hope you didn't have too much trouble with Chilean Spanish. It's been said that Chilean Spanish is to Spanish what Scottish English is to English. Beautiful, but at times unintelligible.
Of course!! We read every single comment it's a super fun part of RU-vid!! 🥰 It waaaas pretty tough to understand not gonna lie but nothing compared to Andaluz in Southern Spain. We lived there for a year and it was great training for the rest of the Spanish dialects around the world haha. Cheers and hope you enjoyed our video! 🥰
Hi! 👋 There should be a few clips of their backs in here. The most prominent carvings on their backs are of the sooty tern bird which stopped on the island during its migration if we remember correctly, but unfortunately now rarely stops over because the birds realized that they would be hunted Haven’t heard of this conspiracy haha. But whenever we go to Egypt we’ll see if we notice similarities! Haha. Have you been to both? Cheers! 🤗
Dang... You want us to go home? You don't want guests? That is very sad. We felt welcomed by everyone we met on the island! And the dog was amazing we loved it too! 🥰
