I have seen so many articles but never understood the game of this calculation but after watching this video..I can teach anyone 😅😅😅😅...thanks a lot buddy 🙏
I get all the points clearly. thank you, and I also want to add one point also, we can calculate the % of equity like: investor investing 45cr and the funding company seeking is 24cr, so what is % of equity, the investor will get? 24cr divide 300cr = 0.8 the, divide 0.8 with 100 0.008 we get so, 8% equity they will get.
Answer 1 - The valuation of the company is 300 crore, i.e., Funding / Equity = Valuation of the company 24,00,00,000 / 8% = 3,00,00,00,000. Answer 2 - for buying 15% equity of the company, the investor should pay 45 crore money to the company. i.e., we need to do cross-multiplication to find the amount for 15% equity, 100% (equity) = 3,00,00,00,000 (value of the company) 15% (Equity) = ? = 15% * 3,00,00,00,000 / 100% So, we get the amount of 45,00,00,000 rupees.
@@dharmeshkashyap7671 24 crores divided by 8% and then multiply 100 to it because woh 8% (percentage) hai usko hum 100/8 likh kar solve karenge so when we divide 24 cr by 8 its conclude to 3 cr and then multiply it by 100 = 300 crore :)))
This man is so calm, composed, matured and visionary. Not an iota of show-off. Knows what he is doing. A lot to learn from him. I wish to see him reach great heights as our own global Entrepreneur.
Great video. Have been searching for this for quite sometime and you have a great simple explanation. Thank you. Have two questions 1) In most shark tank episodes, the entrepreneur asks for a higher valuation than the previous round. What happens to the shares in previous round. Do the previous investors need to match the corresponding new valuation to keep their shares OR does their percentage of equity reduce based on new valuation sharks agreed OR because they bought it at lower valuation prior to sharks giving higher value, they get the difference in new value back as profit with an option to reinvest back? 2) If the sharks offer a lower amount than previous valuation, what happens to the previous investors who paid higher? Who will pay the difference in share value?
Total Valuation of company at 8% equity on funding of 24 crore =24/8×100=300crore 15 % equity at total Valuation of the company =300×15/100=45 crore Thanks man ❤
Sir, Equity lene ke baad kya hota hai ? Investor ko kya - kya Rights mil jate hain aur investor kya apni equity owner ko sell kr sakta hai ya nhi . Is par bhi video banaiye..
Bhaiya aapke videos bahut achchhe hain, aur videos banao detail me business samjhao, jaise ek que hai jo shark tank dekh kr aya tha.. Equity se factory lagate hain to zyada expensive hota hai par loan se factory lagana chahe to expense kam ho jayega, aisa kyo ?
I am further clarifying the concept. Suppose, You open a company with your friend. You both invest Rs. 50000. At a Rs. 10 face value ( cost of each shares) you both get 5000 shares. So, The equit split between you and your friend is 50-50. Now, If you go for fundraising and you take an investment of 10% with a certain amount. It means the company which had 1000 total shares will now have 10% more shares which means a total of 1100. Now, You and your friend will still have 5000 shares but the percentage ownership will reduce to 45% from 50%. Also, You will find the value of single equity will fall because of new introductions of equity.
Pls also make a video on business details entreprenuers share with investors - gross margin, net margin, other expenses, etc. Had been searching for this video since long. Thanks for making this one. Good explanation.

Neeraj ji, agar sharks company me 10% equity buy karte hai to unhe dividend ke form me profit mil sakta hai. Par dividend dena ya nahi dena ye company ka decision hota hai. Par agar company dividend deti hai, to uska 10% hissa sharks ko jarur milega. Lekin aam taur par sharks dividend se nahi balki future me apni equity ko high price par dusre investors ko sell kar ke profit banate hai 😊😄

woh sab toh thik hai, investors ko kese faida hoga? Company kese Paisa dega investors ko? Actual start-up cost: 10lac (individual or partnership) Investors: buy/invest 10% equity at 10cr valuation Toh investors ko kis basis pr amount milega? 10 CR or 10lack. Saal Mai milega ya mahine Mai. Kiya investors ko hamesha Paisa invest karna hoga ya 1 time investment hai. Aur v question hai. Agar kisi company owner ko investor mil jata hai at 10% or xyz% pr. Isme expertise, guidance yeh sab milta hai. If company owner ask a loan for 1 CR at 10% . Which is good and why and more questions on this topic. Anyone can help me? Please do make another video on this topic. I want to learn in detail. Thank you
