As a man with Fibromyalgia when I first went to my doctor about my ongoing pain and trying to see what was going, I was told I was hypersensitive and that I should suck it up because "everyone else is in pain" and I saw a lot of doctors before I got a diagnosis. I was about to lose my job and was very much on the edge of it all and thinking of taking my life. Thankfully I got the right diagnosis and my quality of life is much better. Thank you for talk about this and please continue to educate those who don't know.

My doctor took her forefinger pointed to my forehead and said “it’s all in your head”. She should loose her license. It put me for a mental spin where I went to neuropsychologist just to find out if I am crazy and I am not. Doctors suck and I find them horrible to us fibro sufferers.
I don’t think anyone with FIBROMYALGIA gets a good night sleep. True we wake up exhausted, but I dream stressful dreams all night long and wake up repeatedly and they tell me i don’t have sleep apnea. taking 100mg of Elavil helps me stay asleep but the dreaming continues. i’m 50 and lucky i’m not in severe pain, mine is fatigue and IBS, depression but have mild back pain and stiff joints. Mayo clinic in Rochester was useless, a nureologist there asked me why I came to see them. this illness is what cancer must feel like.

I just watched the videos on Fibromyalgia! The information was good to know. I have Fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis. I have been told that Fibromyalgia is a autoimmune disease.

My general practitioner diagnosed me with fibromyalgia, and arthritis 3 years ago. He sent me to a rheumatologist. After test the rheumatologist said I had osteo and rheumatoid arthritis, spondylosis myelopathy, bone spurs, and facet something. After diagnosis he started treating me for everything but fibromyalgia. The thing is no matter what drugs he prescribes, I'm still in pain. I don't know if I haven't found the correct drug, or it's my untreated fibromyalgia causing the pain. Before going to the doctor I was talking 3000 milligrams of Tylenol. Yes, I know that's high, but it was the only way I could get out of bed and work. Once I started going to the rheumatologist, he prescribed Meloxicam. I took it for one year, it didn't touch my pain. Next methotrexate, oxaprozin, and Enbrel. He also told me to lose some weight. I lost 40lbs. My pain eased just a little, until the temperature dropped below 50. About 3 month into this drug regime, I started taking 1000mg of Tylenol for my back. Now I'm taking Humira (since December 2019), methotrexate 20mg, oxaprozin 1200mg, and 1000mg Tylenol. I was in pain so bad the other day I almost cried. When he first started prescribing these drugs, I asked him what about my fibromyalgia. He said I'm only prescribing for your arthritis. The last time I went to him, I told him I don't think any of this is going to work and I'm going to quit taking these drugs and go back to straight Tylenol. He didn't say anything. If I don't see a difference but May 2020, I'm going to stop taking these drugs. I'm sure you know they're are many side effects to all of them. My question is why do rheumatologist ignore fibromyalgia? He almost had me convinced I don't have it, although he never said anything about it. But I still have the symptoms and no pain relief.

I have all the symptoms plus I’ve been suffering with pain for 25 years now...no one listens to me. The VA doctors laugh and think I need antidepressants and that I’m crazy. I cry everyday because now I’m unable to control my hip and sciatica pain. No wonder veterans are committing suicide daily. Ohio threatened to sue the VA if they give out anymore pain meds because of the opioid deaths. But you can’t just cut people off who have pain. There has to be other solutions. I for one can’t stomach opioids. But trying to get that through my PCP’s head is becoming a nightmare for me. I’m about ready to give up too. Sorry to vent but my frustration and anger are there because of my pain. I hope your videos can help. I need solutions.

I feel some pain and burning sensations and tingling I also get the burning sensation in my head so I’m not sure if it’s fibromyalgia I’ve been to the doctor 20 times and they treat me like I’m insane my mri came back normal blood tests as well very normal I’m only 22 and scared I cry daily because I don’t know what’s wrong

I get the tingling sensations all over my body head aswell it’s horrible is there anyway of getting rid of this I can’t live like this 😢 do you still workout
@@louiseemssy honestly it might just be anxiety I find that when I feel this even though I don’t think I’m anxious I actually am and that’s my body responding and of course not knowing what causing this makes you stress even more I did yoga allot of deep breathing and it all went away I still get it here and there even as I’m typing this but it’s cause I’m stressed…stress is the real killer keep calm💖

I was diagnostic in 2000... sleep problems...dont go To my deep sleep... and my sédimentation rate is was High...plus pains on my scalp and face...etc...
Your immune system needs boosting. Read Dr. Steven Gundry's book, The Plant Paradox. It explains what to eat to avoid and minimize lectins, and maximize polyprophenols. Life changing book for me. Highly recommend you read it, and see if the avoidance of lectins reduces your pain. If I eat beans, my hands burn like crazy.... stop eating beans... hands seem fine. It can be as easy as that.
Clearly not got fibromyalgia this lady. She might be a doctor but doesn't have any grasp of fibromyalgia. This condition takes in so many forms it's almost beyond description so I can understand why she doesn't get it but I think she should maybe focus on something she's more familiar with. If you are a sufferer then I empathize with you and wish you well.
