This is a very special rule. Not for everybody. But if you know it, it might help you in some situations. I'm not sure why the lighting of this video was such yellowish !!!
I sometimes pronounce が as んが unconsciously whenever in lower pitch to save a breath I don't know why, but i've heard alot of movie and anime character pronounce that
Thank you for bringing this knowledge to youtube! I had seen a bit about this in wikipedia, and after that I noticed the ng sound when I tried to pronounce the surname Itagaki and I felt the ng sound in the back of my mouth coming naturally without any intention of doing it. Now thanks to your video I can undestand more about this phenomenon ❤🎉
OMG I love this. I'm a huge fan of correct pronunciation, so this is really helpful. I've been wondering this ever since I first started learning Japanese, and now I finally got it! Ari-nga-tou gozaimasu!
Im Hungarian, and want to be a voice actor in japan. Your video helped me understand this thank you! Im still in the beggining of my journey but I hope I will get there
i always used bidakuon even in singing i'm not fluent but everyone hears my Japanese and other languages sounds fluent.........because i also studying pronunciations and ipa.
Why do voice actors speak so strangely? And I don't mean doing silly voices like the silly characters done by Dr Bradley Baker, like the Ben 10 aliens. All the vowels deletion, and the subject of this video. Must have an interesting history behind it; it's not like they're playing a big joke on everybody after all!
Not all vowels. Please watch my "vowel deletion" video. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ioLdIwnURfQ.html It's just an effort to sound Japanese more beautiful and understandable.
ありんがとう😁😁 This is mostly used in Anime or Movies. People who were born in Tokyo use "ga gyou bidaku on".In rulal area, people don't use it.It depends on where you live to hear it by native Japanese people.
@@MrMinermation 店員should be pronounced as "te-n-i-n". When we say " te- n-i-n" fast, we sometimes place our tongue near " ng" point , but we don't pronounce "ng" . Because there is no " gagigugego" Please don't read it as " ten- in" with 2moras. It sounds てにんfor Japanese people.
Try to say these words. 演劇 えんげき e n nge ki 損害 そんがい so n nga i 監獄 かんごく ka n ngo ku 感激 かんげき ka n nge ki (All of them use flat style.) It's easy to pronounce nga nge ngo with んn, I think.
@@SeizeJapanese Them too, but I mostly meant as in years (in 1984, etc.), bigger ones when saying that there's a certain number of things as in "there're 1549 packages", and when saying the age of a person too. Basically, all types of numbers😅😅
