I'd like to add that Flux is the "lightweight" approach to ArgoCD (the one I used in the past), with a key difference being that ArgoCD provides a web interface that team leads can log into for stuff like deploying critical pieces in production (of course that YMMV depending on how mature your CI/CD workflow is).
