What Is Going On With Arcade1Up? So it's been a weird week for Arcade1Up as a bunch of rumors have come up about possible new cabs, several Arcade1Up Prototype cabs leaked as well as very aggressive ads showed up on their website and in the midst of this we are in a communication blackout from the company with the community, not to mention a former employee is running an AMA on their official Facebook page. What does all this mean?

We all know what is going on with Arcade1up. Their 5 year business expectancy is over. It has been over 5 years. Unfortunately the end is near.

It appears ownership and higher ups probably decided to nix the community thing and strictly just go bare bones and see how it goes. Either to sell the company off or recover slowly. Most businesses prefer not to communicate so openly with community as is. So whatever the CTO or others said at the beginning likely was overruled. It’s still deceptive. At least they should tell everyone they’re pivoting and no longer plan to be as open as in the past. Then it could at least be acknowledged. Instead, they ghosted.

The reality of the situation is that whatever the company does is seen as overwhelmingly negative always so they probably detached from the community indefinitely

Really wish they made that 720. That looked sick. I’d be down for a better version of paperboy and a standup version of Spy Hunter. They could have been awesome as well.

Getting my second A1up tomorrow. First was TMNT 4 player in 2020 and sold in 2023. Now will have a ms Pac-Man 81 deluxe. Had some complaints about TMNT hopefully some or all will be fixed now

Ya, mike I really think you should. The community is in an uproar. If there's anyone who can get this done, it's most definitely you!. Like you said in the video: they don't need to tell us what's coming out just talk to us. Surely, it won't hurt to ask. They obviously have plenty of time to make time for us.

Arcade1up hasn’t kicked JohnD out of that group because they don’t care about social media. It’s “official” in name only. John D loves attention and has a big ego, hence the AMA and him doing that original takeover with the original Arcade1up group.

It seems that they want to go more mainstream and less niche. They also seem to have a lot of back stock to move and maybe that’s why they are advertising the way they are.

seems like they are broke on ideas and money. These look like OLD leaks like 2021, sad seeing all these 'what ifs'. Its like a eulogy for this company

What's going on with @games pinball?!?! They have a built in customer base that owns their hd pinball tables and they have essentially abandoned it?! How dumb are they to only make new tables for the 4k unit?! Bring the new licensed tables for the hd tables! I'd pay $20 a table for some quality replicas of new arcade tables. No shade to the zaccaria tables but those tables are super old. What are you doing @games!!!! I'm not buying a 4k unit.

Yeah man it sucks that the Pinball FX games aren’t coming to the HD Pinball. Unfortunately they were upfront when the partnership was announced that they would be exclusive to the 4K pinball. I don’t think it’s a question of whether they want to sell them on the HD as well so much as can they even work on the HD. As I am sure you are aware they are still working on optimizing the Pinball FX tables to get them to work on the 4K. I know AtGames have the Natural History Pack 2 coming out this month for the HD and anything AtGames works on will be available for the HD as well.
