I use a blend of canola, sunflower, and frankincense oils in my hair and beard. It doesn't leave it greasy.

Just ordered the citrus one since most of my other products end up smelling like that anyway! I'm counting on you guys! Once I get it I'll post a pic on instagram at my 4 year growth mark and give my honest opinion if anyone cares haha.

Another great and informative video as always. I've been using the Biosilk silk therapy serum in my hair the last few months and have been pretty happy with it. Yours looks pretty sick too though so I may have to give that a shot even if it is quite a bit pricier.

Thanks for the tip! I have very fine corn silk hair and washing it make it fly away once dry. This may well get rid of the frizzy fly away hair when I wash it every 3-4 days. P.S. Been letting my hair grow for 3 years 3/8 buzz cut to middle of shoulder blades now.

El Rubio! Hair looking great as always. Got a question for you. I have the far opposite of your hair, crazy curly, and I don't want to destroy the lushness of them by brushing it through. How should I apply the oils? Right now I do it after a shower by finger brushing and scrunching it in only.

Awesome channel guys! Being new to this whole longhair thing, I am confused whether or not I should use conditioner and oils, or if oils is just a type of conditioner? I usually just use shampoo and straight after I use a conditioner, which I then wash out. But in this video, you're using it while your hair is dry? Do you do both (in bath and after)?

Been growing my hair out for 5 yrs. Trimmed the bottom last year about 4 inches. It past my waistline and "chopped" 6 inches bc the bottom became too thin. I had alot of hair fallout from the roots after shampooing & conditioning... frustrating. Is that normal? I shampoo 1-2 times a week. My hair is your lengh now.

Does breakage cause flyaways? if so i have a lot of breakage... I especially get a tone of flyways at where i part my hair and it gets a 1000 times worse when it's windy.

Been trying different oils from coconut to avocado as well as grapeseed oil. Grapeseed is light and has almost no smell. Avocado oil has a slight avocado smell but I like avocados so no big deal it is a bit heavier than grapeseed. Coconut oil has a really coconut smell but not overpowering and its heavier then the avocado. I have yet to get any of them to the perfect application. I like the way those store bought serums work and look but I do NOT want the silicone on my hair. I'm trying to get that look and control without the silicone but also not look too greasy. Needless to say I'm struggling a little. At 43 I've been growing my hair out for over a year and never had long hair before. Any advice anyone has would be appreciated. One of the benefits for growing out my hair is my 9yo daughter has basically the same head of hair I do and we've been struggling with how to keep it looking good for well 8 of her 9 years. So anything that helps me will help her as well.

I workout everyday and I need a shower after I workout. I have about 2 and ha li f years of length n it has a fried look just at the last 3 inches in the back. But no split ends. It's like that part is having a hard time absorbing moisture n nutrients. I've been using Keratin treatments in the shower n then using food grade coconut oil just on those spots. I also did an argon treatment too. But it's getting better but still doesnt look as healthy as the mid to short sections.
