When you talk about the scores of missiles that Iran sent to Israel... the correspondent rightly mentioned that if any of those missiles had been "nuclear tipped" - then it would be a tragedy indeed. The thing to really focus on - is that as things progress, Israel cannot know that these massive attacks are not a cover for a nuclear strike. Israel has every right to be paranoid that Iran may well do it - especially since it's sworn to wipe Israel off the map, and funded and enabled October 7th. If you were Israel - why would you trust that the next salvo wouldn't have a nuke?
A lot of people in Western media are condemning the moves Israel is making against Hamas and Hezbollah (and soon Iran), but what are their diplomatic options? They are surrounded on every side by groups whose stated goal is their elimination down to the last man, woman and child. Islamic groups regularly use terror bombing as a weapon, but cry foul when someone does a controlled explosion anywhere near their civilians like Hezbollah is doing. Gaza is a different story, and it's horrific the number of civilians who have been killed there, but Hamas consistently uses them as human shields and builds rocket launch sites next to the refugee camps - or inside them. What are Israel's options? They either sit and let these groups consistently shoot rockets and missiles at them, in hopes that their iron dome can catch 100% of them at risk of their own civilians being killed - or they bomb the launch sites and have to deal with the backlash of the inevitable civilian casualties. There's not a good option for them to take anymore, so I think they've just resigned themselves to doing whatever has to be done to end the attacks by any means

Make a chart of how many artillery, missiles and rockets has Hamas launched into Israel before October 7, 2023. And make a chart after October 7, 2023. Compare it to now. Is there significantly less Hamas artillery, missiles and rockets targeting Israeli civilians? Oh, and October 8, 2023 until August 2024 before Israel turned its military towards Hezbollah. How many artillery, missiles and rockets did Hezbollah fired targeting Israeli civilians in all those months while Israel was busy in Gaza. Oh wait, you can't mention that Hezbollah is still firing artillery, missiles and rockets every single day into Israeli civilian cities. You only report when the IDF returns fire.
You could also ask why the rockets were sent and how much land Israel has taken and Palestines killed leading up to Oct 7th You can also include Israel refusing to negotiate a real peace deal for decades only offering long term eviction notices disguised as peace deals.
