CarMax is a different animal….. they blow away every dealer when it comes to moving used inventory. They also don’t play games & no gimmicks & no fraud to worry about. The price is the price. I’ve had positive experiences with buying & selling to CarMax.
I had guaranteed financing. Chose my car and supposedly it was being held. I flew from Tennessee to Atlanta finish to the paperwork and pick it up. In between the day and a half from the test drive and me flying home to get required documents they sold the vehicle without my knowledge. I Uber to CarMax from the airport expecting to leave with the car.... My car is gone. Nothing they can do and now the wanted to redo paperwork and financials if I wanted something else. They also started redoing credit reports. This clusterfuk ended up costing me roughly $5,500 between airfare and transportation. Hopefully these pieces of shat go under just like off lease only.
Don’t let dodge fool you, they overcharge you for a mid car. I wouldn’t pay more than 40 for a scat, you could get a GT with better technology and are faster for cheaper.
