Most Christians have concerns about Heaven: What will we be like? Will I know what's happening on Earth? Will we be bored? Will we still be married or have a purpose? It's completely normal to have concerns about Heaven - we're trying to understand things based on our own ability, and we can't understand something so perfect! It's understandable to fear something you can't comprehend, but when you trust God and His goodness, you look forward to joining Him in Heaven.

I really enjoyed this message especially since my finance passed away last year.I only have one thing to add. You said we will have emotions. I thought the Bible said there will be no emotions. No sadness, no pain… ?

How come these talks about "heaven" never include the part where you see other people's families and friends all having a joyful reunion and you're looking around for YOUR family, your children, your friends--but they're not there. How do you process standing there in the hereafter while they're being tormented in an eternal conscious hell? Will you see them, like poor Lazarus could the rich guy? Will their screams be audible in heaven? Or do they drown those out somehow? How are there no tears if you're standing there all alone, all YOUR family burning in hell, while others are celebrating? Or maybe your memories of them are totally erased, wiped clean as though they never existed?
