I have attended one meeting and love the colour and pageantry of it, especially the bands and the dancing. At junior school we did Highland dancing from the ages of 7 to 10 but very easy dances. It's been such a long time, in another world.

Good video but also something to point out is clan representation. Many clans have a booth set up and are a joy to talk with. There is usually also a very helpful staff in the main tent with computers and such to help you with finding your clan and other clan related resources. Its been awhile since I have been so this may have changed but it was when I went.

I am so sad that the Scottish Highland games was cancelled in my area due to the Covid-19..

They’ll certainly be others. Better to have you in attendance in the future than not at all. I wonder if this keeps up if we can order tartan masks.

Ditto! The Loch Norman Games this past April were cancelled, and so has Grandfather Mountain this summer. Here's hoping that the Charleston, SC Games will still be held.
