QS5* RATED FACILITIES AT VINUNIVERSITY THROUGH THE LENS OF ZING NEWS
VinUniversity is ready to welcome our first freshman. During the first 5-10 years of operation, VinUniversity is prioritizing the development of the university to meet the comprehensive criteria of QS5*. QS Stars is an evaluation system that assesses universities worldwide, developed by the world's leading educational accreditation organization, Quacquarelli Symonds (United Kingdom). Universities are awarded a rating of one to five stars + (5*+ being the highest rating) based on eight criteria, including: teaching, employability, research, internationalization, facilities, innovation, engagement, culture, access, specialist subjects.
In 2021, VinUniversity will start with the criterion of facilities. The entire school landscape architecture, interior and equipment are built to meet QS5* criteria.
Located at Vinhomes Ocean Park (Gia Lam, Hanoi), VinUniversity's facility are designed to optimize the experience of students and lecturers. The total area of the university is up to 23ha but the density of construction is low, only 16% coverage comprising of 13 main blocks, facilitating around 3,500 students and lecturers.
The architecture, landscape, and interior at VinUniversity are designed by the most prestigious corporations in the world: Aecom (USA); Westgreen (Canada) and HBA Company (USA). The exterior is built in a neoclassical Gothic architecture style, characterized by vertical pillars bearing the message “The university of enlightenment”.
The highlight is the symbol of the sun shining the light of knowledge which adorns the main administrative building at a height of 108m, dispelling darkness and backwardness. The tutelary deity is Apollo - God of the Sun - who has power of knowledge, truth, medicine and art.
The design capacity is consulted by the University of Oxford (UK) to ensure modernity, save energy and inspire learners’ creativity.

Hi, Is there anybody out there who can tell me something about VinUniversity? Is the university operational these days? My application for admission has been given a run around and nothing is definite. I was admitted to first year medicine but nobody would tell me when the academic year starts. A girl named Ngan Ha told me that last year she got her high school diploma, was admitted to first year medicine and now she is a medical doctor. So far so fast? Hello! I'm Nigerian, not Pakistani, but I can assure you that the school is a goldmine. The majority of the students are from diverse countries including UAE, Nigeria, America, Singapore, France, Qatar, India etc. Their first set of graduates would be graduating this year 2024. There is nothing to be scared about. I was given an offer of admission in MD program. I hope this helps to calm you down!

@@lilvivaYES. The programs are English taught, although medical and nursing students have to learn the Vietnamese language along the way as they are being taught in English. This would make it easier for them to have their clinical with patients, especially locals.
