I like this one better, as it only covers polynomials. Easier to understand for the students, when they need to understand what's going on. It was recorded before HD became the standard, I guess, but still good. Thank you for sharing!

@@ontheway5792 Respectively means it follows up to it like for e.g Dan and Sean have sweets to Ratio 1:2 respectively. Dan has ratio 1 and Sean has ratio 2 I think that is the idea behind with respect to X Like it the expression follows up to DX if you know what I mean

With respect to x just means in terms of x, when you've multivariable calculus then you've to specify which variable you'd want to differentiate/integrate eg : y = x^2 + y - 3z ; differentiate with respect to x > dy/dx = 2x while differentiate with respect to z > dy/dz = -3

sir here is question if u can answer it will be great help the area formed byY=1/square root x and y axis from y=1 to y=2 rotated 360 degree about y axis find the volume of solid formed

I was 12 when I watched this last. Goes to show how good a teacher you are if a 13 year old can understand integration. Now I'm sitting in with math classes two years ahead of me covering further calculus and series haha thank you!!

Integral of adx = ax makes sense if you infer that adx = a*x^0 dx, as anything to power 0 is 1, and then substituting this into the original formula yields the same result.

Very good. Excellent method. However, I would say if you start a concept by giving situations or examples of why we need to study the topic. I mean in real life why do we need this. In this case Integration, then the student would get a better sense of achievement. Thank you

This is great :D Atm I learn calculus etc. in lessons, then watch your video on it and it helps to cement it into my memory :) You also have a slower, and more direct way of teaching it and it helps as my teacher usually has to stop for questions half way through things or explain unnecessary ideas :/ Keep up the amazing work!!

What about the constant "c"? Should we just leave it as some c or k? If they ask to find the constant what should we do??

It depends on what you're being asked. A lot of the time you will leave it as 'k'. Sometimes you will be asked to integrate to find the original equation. To do this you integrate the expression to give you something + k and they give you a point on the graph through which the line passes. You then substitute into x the x-coordinate they have given you into your integral and see what you get as the y value. If your outcome has y equal to the point on the line that they have already given you, k = 0. If after substituting the value, your integral is two less than the y coordinate they have given you, you add two to make up the difference, therefore k = +2. Hope this helps, thanks.

was just going through my notes on integration and got a bit confused. how does the notation work again? am i supposed to always put "y=" in front of the integral sign? or do I just do the integral sign and then once I've integrated it, I put "y=" in front of the integrated expression?

+Enigmo If you are given dy/dx then integrating gives you y= ... However if a question just says integrate the following and you just have the integral sign then no.
