Man I really respect your honesty! This is how you tell who is a real one. If you were just pushing some agenda you would never touch on the negatives and would pretend that your life is perfect in AZ.
Big Herc, thank you for speaking the Truth - all day, all the time. I've been blessed with an easy life for 60 years, great wife, two sons to be proud of. Cannot even comprehend the hardships you've been through - and still keeping the Faith, it's a testament to your strength and soul. God Bless you and keep on keeping on.
Big Herc. I really like your realistic viewpoints on relocation. I’ve had a similar experience moving to Florida from Tennessee. Me. I love Florida-just the entire vibe of it all. I get it. Wish you well brother. Keep posting. I’ll keep watching.✌🏿💯🌴
I really enjoyed your channel I'm glad I found your video answered going through my mind.. I'm also in California born and raised and I've been seriously don't understand why Arizona been popping up in my mind❤
I'm from the Bay Area, CA and sometimes I think about moving out of state. But I love the coast and mountains (I'm a mtn biker) too much to ever leave. There are things I don't like about the bay but the positives outweigh the negatives for me.
I'm a trucker and have traveled all over the USA. It's sad to see the decline of so many cities. Woke elected officials have ruined it with horrible policies and brought on degeneracy
Man we are the most hated people on the earth lol. I do agree with your honest review of Arizona. They said the same thing of Alaska where I'm from and I laugh about it.
Man I really appreciate this video. I'm really wanting to get out of California. I have always loved Arizona. I am very familiar with this state. You touched on all the subjects I have been thinking of. We're getting hosed here in Cali.
I went last year to the Cardinals vs Seahawks game in Glendale it was so awesome!! I have family there, they're all from LA they moved there in 06 or 07. Anyways they bought some beautiful houses, for cheap compared to CA. But now the prices are pretty expensive because of the influx of Californians.
Love the channel Big Herc. Your story is real inspiring and I'm so glad you've got out the CA scene. AZ has problems like you said, but it's way better off than CA. All my family is still in SoCal but I got out and moved to WA (which also has many problems, but not like CA). Too much destruction going on there, too expensive, too much crime, too much corruption in schools... all of it.
@@bigherc916 I feel you brother I'm in Oceanside, but also have a place in the 85028 and it's a breath of fresh air when I'm in AZ. CA has become so rotten from all the sin and corruption. It's very sad, I really loved CA growing up, but it is what it is. Peace bro
I live in San Diego California I'm originally from Kansas. I live out here temporarily because of work. But I try to tell some of my friends I made out here that how expensive it is and it shouldn't be that way but they never listen.
I bummed my way out west in 93 and spent alot of time in AZ. I much preferred the Sedona/Oak Creek Canyon/ Flagstaff area to Phoenix. I don't know what those places look like now, but I can imagine. I guess you're down south based on the geography behind you. You're living the desert life, my friend. Definitely a great landscape.
When I lived in California for the first time, the woman at the private DMV smiled from ear-to-ear when she said that my noncommercial pickup truck was commercial. Knowing what I know now, I would have corrected her.
I live in Arizona 😂and I’d rather be in California the bay to be exact but my career is here unfortunately. Everyone from California that moves here likes it better here . I do not like Arizona
I’ll take the bay over Arizona any day. Most of the Bay Area is not what people like to portray it as. It’s expensive but a lot of the jobs pay way more than say Sacramento.
The Bay?!? Lol, why on earth would you want to be here? 😂 We have the rudest people I have ever encountered in this country. I’m trying to move out of California.
@@bebop504 come to Arizona they’re even worse . Not in central or west Mesa but East Mesa these people act like they never seen a Mexican 🤣 and we are the majority. I’ve never met anyone rude in paradise where you live 🤣.
I've been to both in june of 2013. Avondale and Phoenix AZ and The signs that that say now entering Pomona and palm desert.... In cali mainly seen Beverly Hills And santa monica .
I moved here from Los Angeles 4 years ago and bought a home. That was the main positive to Arizona. Other than that i feel that everything else has been a negative. I have experienced more racism and ignorance here than in any other state. I also miss the food and culture of California. I am a gay blk male so my perception may be different.
I emigrated here and definitely getting worser. Crime is too much, bad drivers everywhere, getting expensive . Too many cons but its still overall more wealthy than my small home nation that i came from but quality of life kinda sucks here but jobs pay good atleast
Arizona is not safe and it's not great for kids. One of the worst education systems in the country as well. Too hot to do anything for more than half the year. Unless you live in the far outskirts of Phoenix you not safe out here. Coming from a Phx native. You made some great points aside from the fact that arizona is now expensive and too full lol. Good stuff big herc! Keep up the positivity
Cali has beaches so that's where they win hands down I'm from California they have more culture as well and better food so California better no.matter what I'm here because my kids are here now and grown and my grand kids are here so lol I'm stuck 😂
Hi Bro, I’ve been in MR for 5 years now and you probably noticed that it’s “Mormon Country”. And I’m listening to your video and just heard you say something about prison time. Careful not to tell anybody about that. You were talking about networking and business. Forget about it in your area if you’re not LDS. They have their network and it’s a bubble. And, when they greet you so friendly, do not be deceived, they are sizing you up. Not just being friendly. And if you have kids, good luck enrolling them in the charter schools (read the ALA comments). And Gilbert PD is very selective if you know what I mean. There is already a movement to stop apartment building, guess why? So that’s all. Just be careful.
I visited PHX early this year and liked it; I thought it had a Texas vibe. The metro in PHX is super clean. LA metro is dirty. Citizens of LA just litter and throw their trash anywhere. It’s disgusting and disrespectful.
They do the same in Phoenix..throw garbage and cups right onto the plants and shrubs..they even trash the bus stops here when the garbage can is just 2 feet away..
Born in cal grew up in az, when i go visit my fam, seems like cal is alot more ignorant than people in az. The beach part if youd like to visit the beach, rocky point/ puerto penasco mx would be a great place to visit, and only a few hrs away
Been living in the CA North Bay for 29 years. Recently bought a second home in Prescott Valley, AZ in April. 2.5 years until retirement and I’ll be moving to AZ permanently. And when I leave, I won’t look back.
916 My Family and I are moving to AZ from SACTOWN. Wife keeping her job I'm starting over after 11 years in at VSPone eye glass industry. You got any knowledge on Scottsdale?
Phoenix area is just too hot with almost zero bodies of water. We've visited 3-4 times and just can't past it. Boise is just as dry and sunny but not blazing hot in summer. Texas and North Carolina are better in my opinion.
TRUE! I was born in L.A. and have been here in Az. for the past 15 years. I am a cyclist also- shoot me an email and we can go on a ride together. I LOVE LA AND IT WILL ALWAYS BE MY HOME.
Went to boot camp in San Diego for the Marine Corps. No way I'll go back to that hell hole visited LA in 2021 from Mexico and have to say I'd never go back.
