🍕If you’re enjoying following along the journey and would like to help fuel me and my ridiculous love for food, you can buy me a small pizza! 😊🇮🇹 buymeacoffee.com/theglobalexpats
Dear Micha, the small napkins you find in bars are not used to clean your hands but are used to keep you from getting dirty, for example to take the croissant (cornetto in this case) that has a little sugar on it, if you take it with that it doesn't stick and your hands don't get dirty. Big hug and love
Ahhh yes someone told me that once & it makes sense! I just always forget to use them & my hands get so sticky - by the time I remember it’s too late! 😂🤣
Finding a quality hairdresser in another country is so hit or miss, especially if you have curly hair. Luca did a great job!Tinker and I still miss going to Orcagna for breakfast! I also had no idea what the name was of the area where we stayed! Thanks for day in the life video! Hugs! Take care!
Haha definitely! 😂 And yes I am so happy I found that place, it’s definitely going to be my go-to salon in Florence 😍 Hopefully you will get a chance to come back to Florence soon & enjoy it all again! 🥰🇮🇹 Hope you’re all doing well, much love!! ❤️❤️❤️
Aww thank you so much for your sweet comment Cheryl, I’m so happy you enjoyed it! 🥰 I have a few videos coming up that will also show some other aspects of our daily life, so I hope you enjoy those too! ❤️🤗
I started watching your vlogs from Italy sometime ago, as we went to Palermo in February and I am so happy that you also record your vlogs just by yourself - some girly stuff✌🏼😂. And also happy to see Florence, because we are going there in two weeks with mu husband😍
Ooh loved this. I'm heading for Italy in May and will be staying in Florence for a week, can't wait. Have you ever had issues with pickpockets or scammers in Italy? That has to be the most luxurious hairdresser I've ever seen, private room for hair washing! Cool. PS. You guys are so cute 😍
When you walked up to the duomo angels sang in my head. Absolutely love Firenze! Why don’t we call towns what they are called in the language of that town? Do you know what a fiasco I had in 2010 trying to find train tickets from Roma to Firenze. I mean no Florence in that system 😂😂😂😂
You look beautiful, Micha. I love getting my hair done in places where I don't really know the language that well. The hand gestures and broken foreign language are fun but sometimes a bit surprising. Once in China 8 salon workers crowded around to give their opinion. It turned out ok and was very comical. Another time a Romanian just butchered my bangs. Tears were there and it took a while to grow out. Now I live in Budapest and my language is pretty good, but I still can't get by without my specific hand and facial expressions. Luckily I have a salon that is perfect for me. And we can practice the language more together. Fun video. Have a great weekend.
Aww thank you so much Natalie, you’re so sweet! 🥰 Hahah yea I’ve had a lot of those experiences too, it’s definitely a gamble most of the time 😂🤣 I’m happy you found a solid spot to go to in Budapest, sounds so cool! 😍 Wave salon will definitely be my spot in Florence - so happy I found it! 🇮🇹
This was super! Very informative, and did a great job of showing off the colorful chaos of Italian life! :) Are you able to use Florence as a hub for exploring some of the nearby exploring regions?
Non c’è lo. Im sorry about your coffee but you called it. Everything in Italy has a season and Lent is not the season for cold coffee. I guess you have officially given it up until Easter ❤❤❤. Gracie da Texas. Vi amo. Thank you for giving us a day in dreamy Florence. We are watching for the second time Sicily and going to visit soon!🎉🎉
Thank you! 🥰 They are the "Bettyy Black" boots from Steve Madden (all the shoes I wear in my videos are Steve Madden, and I always wait for a sale 😅) After wearing them a few times they are quite comfortable to walk around in - I wear them all the time! 🤗
I absolutely love this type of video. Makes me feel like I live in Florence and walking along with you. Gets me excited for my trip in September! Question, how do you feel about the crime and pickpocketing in Florence?
you can come easily, crime and pickpocketing in Florence are less frequent than in other European cities, it may sound strange but crime in Italy is much more narrated than real, obviously in every big city there are less recommendable areas..for example the train stations, especially at night, but fortunately we have a very good police force. please stop with clichés.. we are waiting for you in Italy. have a nice holiday.
This was such a fun video! Is one of our favorite gelato stores, called "Il Procopio" which is close to your square open during winter? If so, you have to try una coppetta con yogurt e frutta di bosco, it's SO good!
Hi Can I ask what your haircut cost please? And can you guys do a video on the best places to go for aperativo In Florence, Rome, Venice? Or Rooftop bars? Thanks Love your videos BTW 😊
oh my Gosh MIicha so much information, I thought about moving into the homes with so many stairs, so cool. In Canada it's law to pick up your Dogs poop, the artists with the art on the ground, the still and sparkling water blew my mind lol and the dogs inside restraints, this was pack with new information thank you so much!!! loved it ❤❤❤😊
