Barcelona and Spain already are. He’s playing every single game at the euros because they chose to not call in another quality winger (Ferran is Ferran) and the only reason he gets rest time is because they have to sub him off because of German law
@@philippeb4126it would be amazing if he surpasses Messi. I think Messi himself would be overjoyed if Lamine surpasses him. But Messi’s achievements are enormous. Lamine would have to win a euro, World Cup, 4 UCLs and at least 8 balon dors and be consistently one of the top scorers in La Liga to be in the same conversation. If Lamine achieves only half of this, he will be already considered as one of the greats.
I don’t think Ansu should be sent again on loan. He should stay at barca and start him consistently in low profile games and he will pick up his form. When a player is struggling with form and you play him as a sub consistently, it doesn’t help him
I don't think this will happen, just because they are very different in articulating their opinions. Nevertheless I like both - Michi gives me the anger I feel in certain situations whereas Dan & his guests gives more nuanced takes. For building my own informed opinion I think this is very valuable.
Congratulations on your 600th episode! Dan, you talk as fast as a machine gun. When do you actually catch your breath? I had the impression that your guest got more and more nervous and grumpy about halfway through. Was it because he had very little to say?
Lamine Yamal's floor is the best of Dembele but with much more effective and efficient in making decisions. His ceiling is winning the balon D'or before age 21 years old. All things being equal, lamine Yamal will be more beneficial economically for Barca next season than anyone else in the squad. Fingers firmly crossed.
I wouldn’t be completely against of cancelo continuing at Barca but to sell Kounde to help bring him in is probably one of the most ludicrous takes I’ve heard. Along with Araujo and Cubarsi ,he’s one of our best defenders and extremely more reliable than cancelo. I understand he might not offer as much going forward as cancelo but as we saw with the season that just passed he’s too much of a defensive liability in big moments
Lamine is already one of the 10 best wingers in the world. His ceiling is (provided the Spanish National Team doesn't end his career) being the best winger for 10 years straight. On Vítor Roque: he is garbage and however many m€ we manage to get from his sale will be more than enough
What have you seen that makes you say Roque is garbage? A few minutes here and there with no time for adjustments to a new league, club, city, and country? He definitely looks promising but we will know if he’s “garbage” or not this year
