What is Laura Bretan (“America’s Got Talent”) doing now? What happened to her? 

Hello Jedi Master, Currently, Laura is a student at a conservatory in Chicago and studies musical performance, with an emphasis on contemporary music, not classical music. If she was going to follow the path of opera, Laura should have listened to Virginia Zeani's advice when she visited her in Florida 11-12 years ago. The famous Romanian soprano Virginia Zeani even offered to initiate Laura in the art of opera music, and I'm sure she wouldn't have taken money from Laura. In opera music, no matter how capable the natural voice is, it must be educated and refined with the help of a competent and open-minded voice teacher.

Modern or contemporary music, whatever you want to call it, is nothing more than a pitiful meow sprinkled with two-cent vocal techniques and abuse of high notes expressed mostly through screams. When singing modern music, Laura does not use even 50% of her vocal qualities, and such a thing is nonsense. Laura's voice is intended for heavy classical music that should be the basis of her career and contemporary music should be a bonus for popcorn and ice cream money.

@@draculasjester4951 Did you know that Gemma Nha, the voice, who sang Nessun Dorma 2018 now debuted in her first serious opera. She had no chance win any got talent show in 2014 and 2018 but she managed to win classical competitions, then you can imagine how mediocre the average trained opera singers is. What I´m saying, serious opera training is no good option for a soprano if you want keep your personality. Look Gemma now, she's been trained into an ordinary run of the mill unknown soprano, is that the fate you are aspiring for Laura as well.

Don't forget that Laura sang opera arias at the beginning of her career, and many fans don't forget this. At that moment, the "Romanian Connection" ( 😂) started working instantly, and, through maestro Virginia Zeani, Diana managed to find the bel canto teacher she needed and now she is a student at the Romanian Opera Conservatory in Cluj-Napoca city. Yes, we all opera buffs and the big opera world are awaiting her grand debut at one of the most famous opera stages, La Scala, phenomenal.

Laura always sings amplified and not frequently, very low risk. Trained opera singers who sings unamplified are at the most risk, all according to Rolando Villazon, the opera genre just don´t want to talk about it in public.
