What is Lego MILS and should you use it?

I am building a LEGO City but like with everything, you need a solid base for it. A great way of doing this is with MILS plates, so in this video I'll show you all the pros and cons. They are expensive to build, so I'm also giving you some tips on how to save money on them.
To grow our LEGO City a bit, I'm adding a lot of road plates with custom LEGO street signs and the Assembly Square from the modular building lineup.

Sanctum+assembly Square, the 2 bulding I have xD Although I'm near completing the palace cinema (with a few changes, as I sourced the partas for it) and I have a modified Spring Lantern festival (that's not a bulding) and the first 3 ninjago city sets but those don't do well with modular buildings 😂 Next up? I'd like to get the jazzclub and ninjago city markets.. but probably both will retire before I can get them

The modular streets are now a little 'boring'. Are you going to add more street decoration in the future?

Yes definitely! But seeing there’s not much of the city yet, I want to first build a substantial part of it. I’m thinking cars, small food stands, little scenes with minifigures, working billboards and all that. I’m also going to light everything up eventually, which should add a lot of character to it
