I've seen this suggestion a number of times and for the life of me I have never seen a story switch out the main character, continue the exact same series, and it was actually well received by the audience at large.

The predictably thing was love dying, unfortunately they had to give joe superpowers in order for that to happen instead of thinking and working for both of them to live

Since Dante and his sbf are under the impression that Joe is dead (since hes made a cover up story of Love killing him), the couple will most likely raise Henry as their own. Henry was also still a baby when he was taken in, so it's not like it'll be a major traumatic experience for him as he grows older

I agree. I honestly think Henry is Joe’s actual only real love in the entire series so far. His love for his son is real and pure. I hope Henry plays a part in the downfall of Joe.

Also, People think Joe does things in the name of "Love" because Penn is attractive and Charming. It's the Ted Bundy problem all over again. He does things for his own selfish obsessions, not Romance, STOP. Justifying his killings, and as someone who has experienced stalking, it's sickening to see girls ong Twitter and tik tok romanticized him, tweeting shit like "he kills and still has time to text back,don't settle for less ladies" . Joe loves fantasies, not real people. The moment love revealed her true nature, she stopped being that fantasy he saw her as and everything changed. If she wasn't pregnant, he would have killed her, that's why he killed back. The moment Beck said "I can never love you." It was over for her

Yeah. Love (her own way) is self-aware, she’s good with being a killer. Joe looks down his nose at her because he clings to this delusion that he’s a good guy. When ironically even though he draws the line at hurting kids he’s killed just as many people as she has.

I was sad, but at the same time I only saw her story this season ending in three different ways - Prison, death, or running away with Theo. All of them would result in very little screen time for her going forward.

There was nothing interesting in the second half She became a crazy psycho, BUT If Joe hadn't started with his bs of obssessing over Natalie, things might have gone a different turn.

She stopped being entertaining when her cards got out in the open, there was no way her relationship with Joe could continue on with zero capacity for reliability. For all the bad shit she did, things could've gone differently if she'd learned from her past mistakes, but her impulsiveness was what did her out in this whole mess.

At best they can control the urge for a bit but can never be rid of it. The second joe realized he was like her the relationship was doomed anyways cause joe needs someone he thinks he can protect and save

Falling into old patterns is something everybody does at some point, however Love has never left them and she just tries to hide it but it gets nauseating to see her snap even worse every time. Joe on the other hand grows as a character, learns to have empathy AND polishes his skills. His going back to old patterns has always been related to his obssessive traits over belongings and very little over killing, every death this season was related to Love and him being forced to clean her shit. And her insanity only gets good until it gets old, and her death was highly overdue precisely because of that.

So true. This season was the best so far. That’s why I can’t understand why anyone who enjoys the show would say there should only be one more season. The show is so good, and shows us something new and interesting in each season, while keeping the hallmark traits and character arc of the main character in tact. I say Bring me all the seasons!

Also sociopaths are bad people but Joe is clearly a bad person, and sociopaths have patterns. Also the perfect ending to this season could be a detective or an FBI or something connects murders around Joe, they arrest him and sentence him to death

I can't stand both of them. Love might be unpredictable and impulsive but Joe is never going to change. clearly he has manipulated so many of this audience thinking he has or is going to because the show is told in his perspective, the fact that he was still obsessed with women and did whatever he had to in order to be with them(murder) shows a pattern of his and he will never change. As Canadace said "if he loves you, that's the worst thing"

joe is just as big of a hypocrite, love is a mirror of him but when he does it he justifies his own actions, and when love does it he doesnt like it because he cant put her on a pedestal anymore.

No thanks, 'returning vengeful ex' arc has been done (candace), I want some new plot or it'll start to get boring. Umm, I would argue that we didn't see Beck die on screen, they didn't show it. And Love did die on screen, she looked right at him as she died. And stayed motionless the whole time Joe was setting up the scene. What do you mean it doesn't seem like her M.O? It's exactly her M.O she's an impulsive killer, but this time, she tried to plan it more, but she's not as good at is as Joe was, He's been doing it his whole life. Love was less experiences as her family covered up her first. She thought she had him paralyzed and got outplayed by Joe, simple as that. She was going to slit his throat but failed to account for Joe having the antidote.

He didn't abandon the baby to go find her. He realized being with him will never be safe for his child and that he will fuck him up. Giving up that baby was probably the most purely good thing he has done in all three seasons. A proper sacrifice.

Giving his child to stable parents is the best things he ever did... And I know a lot of people may not want to hear this but I really think Joe wants to change for Marianne his relationship with her was more genuine and real he didn't stalk her like the rest he took his time to know her.

Joe didn't change, at least in his obsessive patterns. He DID have a much lower kill count this season though, which is an improvement in that aspect. He at least tries to not kill people. Damn, people get manipulated easily lol. If Joe wants Marianne to live, he should stay as far away from her as possible. 90% of the girls he's been with has ended up dead. He's not going to change, there will always be another 'YOU' for Joe. Beck was the one, dead, finds a girl who knows him and accepts him for what he truly is, Love, still finds another person to obsess over, Natalie, ends up dead, then obsesses over Marianne, who almost ends up dead. Love, ends up dead.

I’m not defending Joe because yes he’s also a shit person, but by far he is the lesser of the two evils.
