Maharaj Libel Case 1862 was one of the most scandalous and defamatory cases in the history of India against Hindu Sanatana, Lord Krishna and Pushtimarga! A movie that is based on this case is to be banned outright!
Below are my observations -
1. Even after sending 10+ legal notices to Netflix and Yash Raj Films along with I&B Ministry of India, the refusal to provide access to script before release strengthens the apprehension on the
part of the followers
2. Also, the apprehension of the followers
becomes real and serious. Considering the secrecy maintained by
the Yash Raj Films, adverse inference be drawn.
3. The excerpts in the Maharaj Libel 1862 case judgement contain
scandalous and defamatory language against Lord Krishna, Pushtimarga and Hindu Sanatana Religion, which affects the Pustimargi and Hindu Sanatana followers of Lord Krishna.
4. The judgement of Maharaj Libel Case was defamatory against the entire sect - Pushtimarga. An act of single person was misconstrued and over-generalized scandalously against the entire sect by British judges who knew nothing about Hindu Sanatana, Sanskrit and Pushtimarga.
5. Maharaj Libel case and any movie/book that is based on this case will incite and hurt religions sentiments of Hindu Satana followers globally. Saurabh Shah and Yash Raj Films should be boycotted
This book focuses on demystifying the mis-conceptions regarding the true and essential characteristics of Pushtimarga in light of the allegations presented in the court during the Maharaj Libel case of 1862 A.D. A lot of books, articles and materials were published on the Maharaj Libel case in past but unfortunately, none of them presented an unprejudiced, unbiased, fair and honest perspective based on the true principles of Pushtimarg as per the founding preceptor - Sri Vallabhacharya. The book presents the honest interpretation of the core principles of Pushtimarg as per the doctrines of Sri Vallabhacharya. The book critically analyzes the arguments presented in the court proceedings, validates them by investigating the facts based on honest interpretation of the core principles of Pushtimarg. The book takes a wholistic approach and presents a broader perspective of analyzing it based on the socio-political affiliations of the actors affiliated with the case, enlists all the myths related to Pushtimarg and debunks them. Although the original title of the book was "Doctrines of Pushtibhaktimarga: Allegations, Conspiracies and Facts (In the context of the Maharaj Libel case", we thought a renewed title was needed to clarify our intention which in reality was to analyze the Maharaj Libel case in light of the true representation of the principles of Pushtimarga as per Sri Vallabhacharya.
