What Is Micro Hydro Power Plant? and How Does it Work? 

No Longer in Darkness Micro Hydro Power Plant at Renah Kasah Village
The construction of the PLTMH in Renah Kasah is a collaboration between the Directorate General of EBTKE, MTRE3 UNDP, BAZNAS and Bank Jambi through a mixed financing scheme.
Apart from supporting the national program to complete the target ratio of 100% electrification, the construction of this PLTMH uses Islamic finance (asnaf mustahik).
This type of financing can support alternative financing schemes besides
APBN, APBD, or other grants.
The construction of a micro-hydro power plant in Renah Kasah Village is an effort to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 7 (Clean & Affordable Energy) and 13 (Climate Action).
