Watched the video, still don't know what MindTap is. I need a MindTap for the MindTap. Oh well, on to reddit. I'm sure someone on there will explain it in 2 words.
Have this for Microsoft ACCESS network introduction course. Spent over 20 hours on study/programs/ on-line training for one weeks lessons and returned a "c" by the program evaluator tool , even though every portion of the two programs entered, returned the appropriate outcome. Might be good for 12 week semester, but don't take in a 7 week short session.
Way over 100% agree. I am Currently taking a college class on US History (telling you class, but not specifically MindTap product for liability reasons because I don't trust these guys at all). I am absolutely sick of going through videos that give false information, explainable questions that are way off topic that just shoot the information you read about down, to horrible grading procedure that just counts your last attempt and not an average or best score so as a student if I just pass even boarderline don't fail I move on and by the time I start the next module have already blacked the last module's bad learning style's pain out, because if I do try it again on my last attempt and fail it, that really bad grade is the one that sticks. The last class I took that used MindTap, it would tell you if your multiple choice grade was correct or wrong before submitting it, so everyone would do the A check answer, B check answer, C check answer, D check answer game until they randomly clicked on the correct choice without even reading. That teacher even pointed out the flaw and his response was there is nothing I can do to tell if you are doing it, but please don't do it anyways (as if telling high school students this would make them not do it). The College US history class didn't do this guessing thing, but is way too horrible to be using anyways.
