Ghanta hoga change...agar isbaar galti se 3 Rd round qualify kar liya toh sab khus hojayenge aur muh band kr denge...nare bhi khatam development bhi khtam...other team ar growing like a f1 car and we are growing like a rikshaw 🥲
The only reason we seem like a good cricket team too because hardly 7 or 8 countries play cricket now. Imagine if 40 or 50 nations were playing cricket including many major European or American (continent) countries our cricket would've looked just like our football. Look at Australia a country of 3 crore 15 times world champion in cricket, 7 gold medals in hockey so far ahead of India in almost all sports performance.
@@SahilBhosale08so you meant to say Australians aren’t interested in becoming doctors and engineers or There’s no Aussie doctors/engineers? What you’re saying is just a sentence you use to escape from reality.
@@renzen1476 No there are Engineers and Doctors in Australia but they are by choice In India more than 20% are not by choice , they are forced too, those want sports as career are always said to take such streams to be on safer side, that's what I meant that we have no sports culture
Breaking News Jordan ranked 87th in Fifa Rankings just defeated South Korea ranked 23rd to reach the final of the Afc Asia Cup 2023 for the first time in their history. We India should learn something from Jordan
A developing player who is 15 or 16 he need atleast a playing time of 1350 minutes it means 15 matches season. in India most of the players who is taking football as serious as their career they don't get these much of game time. This is where india needs to change in development. If the players doesn't get enough game time how will they develop in their game iq, tactics, technical all those things. In most of the states in India the state football association are not even paning the game schedule they only just wanted to finish the league, tournament or season as fast as they can, then how will the players will develop . This is the reality of India this needs to be changed if you real need to see india at the top ranking I'm world
I'm from Northeast & I can assure you this. If govt can provide enough infrastructure and facilities to these players, NE alone can produce more than 50 international level players.
We can't and we don't need to. That support, infrastructure and facilities will run into billions. Better to spend the twentieth or fiftieth of that money on sports we can actually do well.
@@SlimJim3082 cricket is one of them. Potentially looking at field hockey, badminton, wrestling and squash. For all the derision you posted against cricket, they are billionaires with space to expand. Football is saturated and requires huge investment to get started off. This is exactly why Aussies and the US don't infuse money into football post sportswashing.
Now that the AIFF-FSDL deal ends in 2026 I expect RIL to pump in a lot of money in AIFF officials' pocket to continue again for another 15 years and ruin Indian football.
The most football loving places don't have proper facilities, places like kerala and Western Maharashtra (Kolhapur, sangli, Pune) doesn't have proper support for football. Indian football authority isn't even investing in future. For most Indian athletes, no matter the sport, once you reach national, You get good income and that's enough for them, whether you win medal or not
There should be a similar concept of uncapped players in the ISL as in IPL cricket matches. In the ISL matches, there should be a rule mandating that one player under 20🏅 and one player under 23🏅 be included in the playing XI. This way, emerging young players can get more game time. UP government has offered 500 crores for sports. But our Foot Federation is sleeping, and they don't have any plan. The government is ready to support but convincing they by having a proper plan is upto you.
@@sorryminati4719 1. Cricket is not funded by the government. Football is. 2. Only 10 nations playing makes it a blue ocean, more than 70 active nations makes football a red ocean. 3. What is the track record of SAf, Russia, China, Qatar and now Saudi? See how much money needs to be put and what happens to that money when you enter a red ocean. Take China's 1 trillion dollars and explain the return. 4. I can name a hundred other priorities better than investing tax money into sports.
All those yapping in the comment section "cricket is only played between 7-8 countries" should know that football is already a saturated market unlike cricket . Just wait till the expansion of ipl to 30 teams and icc setting up cricket academies in countries like Russia, Iran and America happens. Then it will officialy takeover football in terms of number of viewers . Despite this happening, ipl is already the second most valuable league just behind NFL. And cricket doesn't even need more than 20 countries to rule sports industry cuz cricket already has india unlike football.... FYI information entire Europe's population is some 900 million while only india's population is 1.5 billion. And because of people like you disrespecting your own countrymen for loving cricket more will make it even harder for football to make inroads in india. So keep your fake ego aside and start improving your product ( football quality) rather than cussing cricket cuz cricket is not your problem. BCCI is a private organization which doesn't get any support or funding from the government instead it pays taxes to the government unlike stupid AIFF. Infact the tax that BCCI pays is more than the entire budget of sports ministry. So in a way BCCI is funding your AIFF.
In india if you need change to come than that change has to come ftom the people. Football can be made popular by conducting street football tournaments. If football becomes popular and is taken up by the streets then the change will be fast and prominent. Hearts and mind have to be connected with the game.
Well u can ask the same to US or Europe, being the largest economy in the world can't produce 11 best cricket players...just because few people are interested in football in India, u can't force everyone to watch it, leave alone playing it...
Thanks to everyone 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 Selection prosech is not good....we need Talent Football.er .... .same 11 is The problem.... young player....Jayesh Rana, Parthib Gogoi,...Joy Gupta.....and more young players Waiting for Indian Football.... where is gone.....Under 19...to23 pleyer and Isl,... India took 50 years in cricket to find Jasprit Bumrah, Siraj and Shami with new-commers like Akashdeep and Mayank Yadav as fast bowlers who are stronger and more athletic. This is going to happen with Indian football. The field hockey was found with small villages in Punjab and wrestlers like Khali were found only in that region. Dhyan Chand was a skilled player and not athletic and luckyly a stronger player may get selected as compared to Dhyan Chand. But Skill is always preferred over strength Indian selectors will prefer Skill over strength and fitness. Brazil had this problem with Neymar who was injured all the time because his skill and dribling was far superior that his stronger body. Ronaldino's skill was crucial. Brazil had the right mixture of strength and skill combined. Pure skill can also be prefered like Japan which are smaller in stature. The coaching in Japan is better and the Japanese economy per capita is better to overcome the problem with JUST skilled players
Why is it so difficult to Indian to play a good football. Need to focus more on the Grassroot level. Rather than the senior. When we watch indain match, lacking of playing ground passes only kicking the ball high and simply clear the ball to the opponent . Newy lets hope for the best 👍💯
We talk about broadcasting rights but how many people follow actually watch it ? Jio is showing it for free right ? are you willing to pay to watch ISL ?
We have technically better players than bangladesh. But decision making & final third performnce of bangladesh is much effective than indian players. Actually they are moving very fast. We are in stagnant situation. Look myanmar u23.their country in civil war. But their football growing right direction. The day we dismantilled indian arrows. Our youth develovmpnt started to face issues. Anwar, Apuia, suresh, deepak tangri are indian arrows product.am talking about debut in professionl carrier.. When was our youth developmnt team got foreign exposure trip. What was the motive behind to stop indian arrows project?? Yes there was some corruption & favouritism happnd in last 2 season in indian arrows. Now how many isl clubs allowing game time to youth.?? U17 worldcup batch players are the back bone of many isl clubs & nationl team. Look anwar ali.. He is injured.. Now what about backup. There is no one as a proper backup player. Our wing backs.. Partiime players filling that positions. Who is the culprit for this situation?.. Who is the responsible for anwar Alis back to back injury issue. Not just anwar many more in these situation.. End of all.. Our worldcup dreams hamper
FIFA is not helping much it seems. They are happy with existing football superpowers like Brazil, Argentina, Germany etc dominating world football. They are not really interested about African or Asian teams coming up in world football
To the ones running Indian football, “EMOTIONS” needs to be involved, whether it’s from a business pov or development pov. Moving forward, the right people should be hired in right places and a transparent system should be created where the “LOWEST” of clubs and players knows what is to be done in order to “MAKE IT”
Best thing is u17 ,u16 players should go for trails in Europe & Latin American academy & clubs...inspite of 100s of facilities staying in india won't improve them much ...Jay Gupta is pure example of improvement. Also this 1.4 billion logic is hoax ...more population is burden here , more population means less facilities per capita. Regarding Vietnam case , Vietnam did grassroots development, have players in foreign league & allows Vietnamese origin players...Indonesia with origin players from Europe defeated Vietnam.
All this is true ...but I feel a huge mentality problem in Indian players which is not passing the ball ....does Palestine have an effing youth structure? When a country like Iceland can play football competitively do you really need a huge no. Of leagues and teams and what not just to produce 11 players who can simply pass the ball around. All you need is to pass the ball to the nearest/ easiest man and constantly change positions to provide passing options. I never see anyone doing that. The problem is Indians recognise/measure a player by their skills/ physical prowess but never by their game intelligence or vision. Reason why ISL games are so slow is players aren't constantly changing positions, making space so the player has to hold the ball for an extra amount of time searching for passing options.
I agree to the things Ranjit says or any of these acadmies speak. But they charge a Bomb to join the academy which means poor kids dont have a chance. Minerva charges 4.6 lakhs per annum in Punjab and 3.95 lakhs per annum in Bangalore. Where will a ordinary person go ? Charge money from people who have...but dont deny the people who cannot pay. Somehow I feel....its all talks and vested interest.

What about poor countries in Afcon... Why War Countries like Syria, Palestine, Iraq play better than india.. they also have poor federation in old time... if football is so popular in North East, Goa, Kerala then why player of these states are not have hunger like other countries... Infact its a huge opportunity for these states player to play in Indian football why you want players from Punjab, Maharashtra, Delhi
The coaching is terrible at youth level tbh, kids are never taught about the technicalities and positioning and they are usually made to ton on running and shooting, without even teaching them proper technique.💀
Want new league with 20 + teams without franchise fees the league name Indian football league IFL . No reliance & the league is fully organized by AIFF AIFF PRESIDENT - Ranjit sir / Bhaichung Sir
This was an amazing panel, lot of Indian football insights we came to know. This panel was missing one important person though. This panel needed a corporate insider, someone who doesn't know lot about football but knows the inner workings of the corporate FSDL decision making and the mindsets of people who views football mostly as a profit making commodity. We often talk about what we want but to make things happen in this work, we also have to listen to what others want as well and come to a compromise. Elvis knows this inside out very well, What is he doing in portugal bhai, idhar aa jao
I think there are few examples of India's boys failing to improve. The first reason is the population of this country. The second reason is that the career percentage is low at around 0.1%. Third reason 99.9% of boys do not achieve success.
Nabab da has given the most logical and practical answers what needs to be done. All schools should include sports as a subject and these should be given preferences in jobs as well. Create a ecosystem.
@AnishRaj-wh5hv People of England , Australia are also cricket lovers but see how there football team is performing . Kya India her sports mein aage jane ki kosis nahi kar sakta especially in football which is world's most celebrated and watched sport .
@AnishRaj-wh5hv Then why people always dream to see India in FIFA World Cup or dreaming India to lift the FIFA World Cup defeating big European , South American , Asian giants . Jaisa kaam waisa dream bhi dekha karona .
kisne kaha example like me who dont even care football hme kya lena dena football se hume cricket se pyar h aur india ko top 5 m aana h olympics m football se kya hi sporting country banega@@ayushmankar4100
people like ranjit bajaj and nabab bhattacharya should start a campaign, they need to reach out PM asap. i know it is difficult but the current PM has ability and popularity to let these population to make them aware.
Grassroots development is the long term solution. It has been in place earlier also, but there has been no implementation. Academies did produce some good talents but then there was no exposure provided to them. There have been valuable insights from everyone. But at present you just need to ponder over what Jeremy said. You need to believe in yourself. All National teams should be provided exposure regularly.
I concur that elevating the expert perspective to prioritize grassroots football in an impartial fashion holds promise for catalyzing positive change within Indian football.
I think we should follow the EFL Pyramid system of Promotion and relegation, that way players will have more hope while playing and will try to keep on improving just to get to that top 3-4 spot in order to get promotion.
The thing is if we don’t play good teams regularly we aren’t gonna make it and if we don’t focus on youth development we will fall back and never gonna reach anywhere and will always be considered a mediocre overhyped team in every tournament
I am an immigrant, my son is playing in A league academy . Played in Ausaian u16 school boys side in UK and beat sides like Arsenal by 4 goals. So I have lot of experience. No issues with talent or physicality. Main issue is developing the right talent in right environment. Need lot of planning, coordination, transparency, financial help for grass roots and a good competition. Unfortunately these things can't be achieved in a country like India. You all know why. So forget about it.
I request u all to pls have a trial in Darjeeling.....the most gifted players are there but there is no such academy which can a provide a good infrastructure for the players.....I can guarantee the locals who play out there are better than most of the league playersss.....
After listening to this discussion, I feel Nabab bhattacharya Sir, Hitesh joshi & Ranjit Bajaj will help AIFF grow more if they get authority in the association becoz current members ain't doing shit.!
We need 1) Academies to produce quality players every year 2) A long 10 month 50 ganes league to aid competition. 3) Selection of age group players from all the academies . To improve point number 1. Have a pool of academies from each state. If 8 states have state competition, pool central money to support those acads. 8 states each having 20 acads will be 160 numbers give a pool of 2 cr each year. GOI can give a support of 350cr a year for football acads. These players can easily play 40 games a year in their states and also play inter region compeition of another 10-15 games. Now these 160 acads will have atleast 30 players thats like 5000 players coming up the system.. Your top 2 leagues ISL and Div 2 will need 24 teams and 25 player each will mean 600 players. A professional will have a career of 15 year max, that means 40 players are required every year. That means 10% of players in acads will getinto professional system.. rest of then should be given education, coaching, technical, sports medicine, etc. so that they can contribute as well.
