Mahesh Bhatt is an Indian film director, producer and screenwriter known for his works exclusively in Hindi cinema. Mahesh Bhatt brilliantly juggled between commercial and parallel cinema, directing acclaimed films like Arth (1982), Saaransh (1984), Daddy (1989), Aashiqui (1990), Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin (1991), Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke (1993), and Zakhm (1999).
