Hi, I'm going to interpret English > Italian at a Music therapy conference in a month and I have a question: I often find that you and your colleagues refer to the patients as 'clients' but I find it a bit weird because it makes me think about the economic side rather then the therapeutic. Why do you call them clients and not patients? Thank you
Typically in a therapeutic setting, patients are referred to as clients because the word ‘patient’ can come with a lot of stigma and make it seem like there is something wrong with them if they are a patient
