Well, that stylist is not doing anything different, really. She is telling him to use cute and boyish styles, and that's exactly the way SM styled him for years. It's a pity she is trying to push an style (when It's suppose to be a way of expression and personality) insted of teaching him how to work with his proportions, the lengths, silhouettes, etc.

Besides, clothes it is really important because it's a way of communication, it's a marketing tool and can help to create or reinforce a brand. It should not but looks are way too important in Kpop.

The best glasses look that Xiumin has burnt in my brain is his Knowing Bros Kokobop era! Everything she said at the end reminded me of his Brand New photos! They suited him so well! Especially the sporty look!!
King Xiumin you look good in anything - as has heen proven in you rocking several outfits that this stylist wouldn't appeive of. I think its more about what works with your proportions and differing hsir colour.
