Would be really cool to see this type of functionality in a single package, like a mashup with the OBN Signal Blender but with your drivers on the input/output sides of the pedal.
Hey I wanted to purchase the OAMP for a show at RedRocks in Colorado next week with Sublime & GZA. I see that the Rev C is sold out and replaced by Rev E. What is the difference between the two for the OAMP. I am playing electric violin with pedals into an amp FYI. Thanks!
Do I need both to achieve a "plugged into amp" tone? I thought the Euna achieved that on its own (at least that's how it seemed to be marketed). Does OAMP just add more flexibility at the end of your signal chain? It is only necessary for larger pedalboards? Thanks!
Hey Ezra! Thanks for your comment. EUNA alone will protect and support the natural tone of the guitar, just like a classic tube amp would when plugged straight in. EUNA will drive out to an amp great on it's own, but other pedals in your chain may not. OAMP can support a chain of pedals by driving a heavy load out to the amp, and it provides up to 30dB of gain and some great tone shaping options.
Well, I think that both are very impactful but depending on your other choices one may make a bigger difference than the other. They are designed to compliment each other, so it's hard to say without context. Hit me up at believableaudio.com if you want to talk about your setup specifically!
Nope, the WHATEVER power supply ensures that you get exactly the same voltage inside regardless of external supply. You just need to supply 7.5 to 30 volts of DC in either polarity, even AC voltage works from 7.5 to 30 volts!
@@29Pedals one more question if you don’t mind- is it ok to use it with a pedal switcher like the quartermaster by gigrig? I would imagine that it should be fine just wondering if there’s any weird interaction
@@29Pedals just wanna let you know I can’t give enough praises to to euna, it really brings back dynamics that I didn’t even know I was missing- and honestly I’ve been obsessively buying drive/boost/fuzz to try to full this void but the euna did it in spades
@@29Pedals also something I noticed, I would bet that the dude who experienced spikeyness with the euna had a dimer on his light switch- I noticed that when this dimer switch was on at my house it created noise and changed the quality of the sound
