I am a communications technician in a central office, and was looking for a headset that I could wear all day. I have used Trekz, and had issues with them not staying put. I’ve used Bose, which have a great sound, but I didn’t like the fact that only one earbud works on phone calls. These open fit ear buds are excellent for what I need. I can wear them all day, they don’t move around, and call quality is excellent. I highly recommend them.
I had a pair and returned them. I didn't like that you can't adjust the volume on the actual headphones which made running in them kind of a hassle. You also can't turn them off you just put them in the case and they disconnect from your phone.
Is there a gap between the openfit and the ear ? I would rather it doesn’t touch or at least doesn’t press down as I have severe skin allergies and rash if it touches my ears.
@TheTechMonkey2701 I'm an android user so no lag when watching RU-vid. I hear so many ios users say their Bluetooth lags on RU-vid no matter what Bluetooth head or earphones they use .
These look really good for running outside and listening to podcasts, but I've been looking for good earbuds to use while working out in a public gym that blocks out noise, doesn't fall off, and is comfortable.
@@Criticalmaze well I doubt that. Just because I’ve had aftershockz for over 2 years and they were great. I say we’re because they were stolen. Why would someone take them if they were garbage. In my experience they were durable, water resistant, useful in tons of situations, the only headstone I would constantly forget I had on, I mean it just goes on. I getting these to replace my lost aeropex. Touch(y) controls seem like a downgrade and the water resistance is worse but at least I’ll be able to put my head back on headrests. I notice a lot of people wearing them and everyone I’ve talked to loves them. TWS earbuds have had a long time to mature so I doubt the battery life will be a problem.
I occasionally found it a bit difficult to hook the buds onto my ears at first. But after I getting the hooks on, the OpenFit were pretty comfortable, even with my glasses on. :)
I found that bass was virtually non-existent with these earbuds, but that is a problem with all of Shokz products, whether the bone-conduction variety or these open-air buds. These types of earbuds just don't have the capability to produce great bass, and with these, if you try to turn up the volume to get better bass, they will distort horribly. To remove the distortion you have to turn down the volume until you can barely hear them. These earbuds are good for certain situations but not really great for critical listening at all.
I think they are not made to wear them in the ear like this video. If you check their website, it's on the ear not in. 1:43 There is Something wrong in this video.
The XM5 your wearing in your intro just look so cheap and are upon examination very cheaply built . Sony abandoned the unrivaled fit of the XM3 XM4 Which is better than any headphones in my collection . I feel like a peasant wearing the XM5s And Sony Felt It A Good Thing To Up The Price By $50.00 . I Returned 2 Pairs Of XM5s Months Apart Trying To See The Value In Them And Other Than The ANC Their Is No Value I Could Find In The XM5s . My SoundCore Q35 & Q45 Have Better Sound Quality And Look Much Nicer Especially The Q45 .
