An outline consists primarily of a set of hints that is equivalent to the optimizer's results for the execution plan generation of a particular SQL statement. Video explains its importance, usage to fix plan stability issues and other SQL performance problems.

Poor presentation. Say sql patch but don’t have the skill to demo it

Hi Rob, thanks for your honest opinion. The purpose of the video was to focus on outlines, SQL patch is a great solution and deserves a separate video. I will do it next by whatever experience that I have using them, not sure what level of skill or degree or expertise you're expecting though
