What is Podcast?
'Podcast' is a word that is composed of the combination of 'iPod' and 'broadcast'. It was first used by Ben Hammersly in 2004. Why does the word have iPod in it? Because podcasts were first developed for iPods. The word podcast is defined in Turkish as "audio files broadcast on digital platforms as a series". In fact, we can also use the 'podcast' word to refer to the digital version of audio blogs or radio programs. Simply, Podcast is the broadcasting of audio content recorded as a series on digital media.
How To Make Money From Podcasts?
There are currently 2 ways to monetize podcasts. First; get a sponsor for the publication. It's like getting a sponsor for a TV show or a RU-vid video. In other words, a brand sponsors your program, and you promote the brand during the broadcast.
The second way to earn money from podcasts is the paid subscription method. In other words, by making your podcast channel paid instead of free, you can request a membership fee from the members. In this model, your earnings will depend on the quality of your channel and the size of your audience.
