That video is NOT a good description of how it works. The TEXT description touches on the actual method it uses: "It uses measurements of the phase of the signal's carrier wave" but fails to explain HOW it detects the phase of the wave, HOW such detection is used to calculate "correction data" to be sent to the rover, what that correction data looks like, and HOW it is used at the rover to produce centimeter-level accuracy of its position.
@@TheRealCheckmate I wish I could. It's what I was looking to learn when I came across this video. I'm sure it's a video somewhere, just not this one. And I've since moved on to different projects not requiring RTK.
I was under the understanding that certain ones can even provide millimeter level accuracy, can you explain what you mean by that? I've never heard anything other than the marketing terms
