I had lasik in 2001. My prescription was about 6.5 in each eye. They told me as you get older I would need reading glasses still (part of aging) and if my prescription changed I would get free lifetime touchups. But my eye doctor said they took so much off because of how high my prescription was that I could never be eligible for a touch up Now in 2023 at 52 years old, I need reading glasses and my astigmatism came back a bit in my left eye. I can still pass an eye test we’ll enough to only really need reading glasses for up close things. But due to aging my lenses don’t focus up close at all so if I had a splinter for example… I can’t focus on it without glasses I’m thinking about getting lens replacement surgery so I can get my full vision range back

I had RLE surgery two weeks ago and am thrilled with my outcome. No more reader glasses! I can see the tiniest of print now. You will also never get cataracts after having this surgery. I highly recommend it to all my friends & family.

​@@abrown9786can uh plzz tell me how old are you??.bcz I am also not eligible for contoura vision bcz of my cornea thickness and ICL too bcz of ACD..so RLE is suitable for me..actually I m only 23 years old but I heard that RLE is for those who have 40 years or above bcz the natural lens is replaced with artificial lens...how would your experience after RLE???
