It is remarkable how so many people on RU-vid can create videos about what SAP is, without actually showing anyone what SAP is. For all anyone knows, it is a unicorn.

I understand where your coming from, most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so inert, so hopelessly dependent on the SAP S/ 4HANA that they will fight to protect it.Unfortunately, no one can be told what the SAP S/ 4HANA is. You have to see it for yourself.

SAP is a beast. They are over 20+ software specific programs that intertwine to fit its overall purpose. The most basic version of SAP that I could show you is the simple GUI login. This opens up the specific DUH/AUH or whatever universal hub you want. (D is for developers so you can mess around and not break anything, A is for authenticators going in to look things over). Within this HUB of the GUI you can plug in T-Codes which are transaction codes and this will take you to each tcode function. from there you can do as you please. This is just one of the basic functions of the SAP.

Thanks for this detailed explanation Eric. I was lost on what this was about. I remember using SAP in the 90's on a construction management job in New York City. I'm circling back to the industry so wanted to brush up on some skills.

There are gaps not so much in the technology or how it's been developed or designed for legacy users but more so in the way through the Implementation process of the s/4 hanna. Finding the right fit for business companies to progress means being effective and efficient in closing the gap or even holding onto the current or existing software Programms like ecc that's been in work and place now for so many years. Key words or phrames/phrases here to pronounce: customization, standardization, dependency, gaps, right fit, efficiency, company size comparison and it's sructure, in need of artificial intelligence, complexity, training, planning, buying advice and tips before implementation, sustainability, costs, prudence, etc.

I believe a deep reflection is needed on the fact that the new architecture is one more step to take business away from the consultants, systems integrators and developers of vertical solutions who have created real value for SAP customers. SAP is the highest finite capacity system ever. It has always been complex and it is normal: like all ERPs, it aims to manage complex situations. Unfortunately, mainly for commercial reasons it has become increasingly complicated. The impression is that they are just hungry for money and are trying to squeeze both customers and partners beyond all reasonableness. It is in this arrogant attitude (and related exorbitant fees) that I see a possible crisis in the SAP ecosystem.

For a 50 user company would BYD be sufficient or should company go for S4 Hana?

BYD is a relatively new product in SAP product basket and being a cloud only solution it does not provide you with a lot of flexibility. However it is a great product for distribution businesses as opposed to a manufacturing focused organization. If you are looking to streamline your Manufacturing Operations as well as Supply Chain then you can look at EPICOR or IFS.

SAP has no user-friendly menu and tries to standardize everything, it doesn't allow you to improve something ( end-user or key user) it is big illusion I think SAP will not maintain its existence anymore due to Microsoft

Sap is a scam take your money trucking company have a no drug policy even after completing sap you have to wait 5 years start over when a speeding ticket comes off in 3 years
