Me & my business partner always tell people, "Okay, we'll make you one shirt but you're going to pay a SAMPLE PRICE. After the screen cost/setup fee & projected labor (Depending on how many screens), for one shirt it'll be $75-$100." That's when they change their tone & go with the 25 shirt minimum instead lol

Exactly haha, sometimes they just don't understand and then when you give them an absurd sample price they get mad but hey nothing we can do about that. This is a business for bulk! Totally understand the client needing samples to see and test the feel but it comes at a price. I appreciate you sharing your thoughts!

Hi and thank you for your videos they are awesome and inspire me a lot. Do you have a link to a rule like yours to draw your benchmarks?? a video with water-based paint would be cool I try white on black but I have trouble getting the ink through force to you

Hey I appreciate the support honestly! My apologies for not understanding, but what do you mean rules to my benchmarks? Water based ink would be cool, but I just love plastisol ink. I will definitely try to make a video on water based ink!

Im from back in the day when we was making positives by hand when computers were Black screen and Green letters nowadays things are easier yet there's still lotta work put into it. Thanks for taking your time but I do tell people that dont know the business to look it up on RU-vid the proccess and your video is perfect cause I much rather be creating than explaining. Bro super informative video. You even got a comment from THE Ryonet, haha that's great! 1 Question though, when a customer gives you the shirt they want their design printed on do you require them to give you extra shirts just in case you mess up? Or just pray you tested enough before starting printing on the shirts they gave you?

Indeed! Appreciate the love. But great question! I try to tell them to order extras but if not I just pray it all goes smoothly 🙏🏽 hahaha. Trying to slowly move away from letting clients provide blanks. It just makes it harder

First off your videos rock, you explain it so much better than others have. I have a flash dryer do I need a conveyor dryer? I'm just doing shirts for myself and don't really have the room or money for it. Once I flash dry it can I just give it time to dry before wearing it.

I appreciate it man glad it helps! You do not need a conveyor dryer. In the case that your just doing shirts for yourself and small runs you can get away with just a flash dryer and cure the shirts with the flash dryer. That’s exactly how I started, only had a flash dryer and curing is still possible with it

Is there should be gap between the pallet and screen mess ..? Or it touch during printing

There should be a gap! a quarter width is a good measuring point. If it is touching the pallet it wont print well because the screen has to bounce up when printing. This is referred to as "Off contact"

i’m just learning about screen printing. thinking about buying the whole set up and doing it for my brand when I get it started. you have green screens, does the color make any difference or is it just preference?

That would be dope! The screens aren’t green but that’s just the emulsion I used which was green. Emulsion is what you use to coat the screens and burn the image onto the screen

Flash dryer does not cure the ink 100% or what does conveyer dryer fully cured the ink?Im Curious about these?

Flash dryer is meant to “flash” the print quickly so you can add a second coat and the conveyor dryer is meant to cure the shirts. Although you can cure the shirts with a flash dryer but it would take a lot more time compared to a conveyor dryer
