I think you should interview Mr. Hayes’ former Shugendou Master, Mr. Shokai Koshikidake. Not to be rude, but some of Mr. Hayes’ knowledge seems a bit hazy. I’m sorry, but I don’t think Mr. Hayes can be considered a true authority on Shugendou. Mr. Koshikidake also has a youtube channel: ru-vid.comvideos If you want to know more about the relation between Buddhism and Shintou, why the traditions were seperated, and the oppression of Shugendou please look up the following terms. Shinbutsu shuugou 神仏習合 (syncretism of Buddhism and Shintou) Shinbutsu bunr i神仏分離 (seperation of the two traditions) Haibutsu kishaku 廃仏毀釈 (oppression of Buddha Dharma in Japan)

Thank you so much for your inputs and valuable insight. These who want to learn more in depth about Shugendo has a valuable RU-vid channel that Mr. Watanabe has provided. As far as the scope of Carving the Divine TV, we are here to open a door of learning. We asked Mr. Haye's make things as simple as possible. Again, thank you so much for the comment to make this community more lively.

But when you learn to relax and realize just today is all there really is cause as oldet people death is always a possibility at anytime so we then learn to appreciate life more even the flying of a bird or the softness of a cloud thats what he does when he goes to the mountains he looks at nature and appreciates it

I didn't know hide the pain Harold had such interesting hobbies. He was forced to meditate on Buddhism and Shugendo and become one with the mountains in order to finally relinquish his pain. I'm glad he's doing better. 🌝⛰️

I'll bet the strange conversions he spoke of at the 11 minute point had SOMETHING to do with the R.C.C., and that's why people can't get their answered to why the old ways were burned up and such.

@@myrddins.cauldron.5983 You know that's never going to happen. Mr Hayes does not (as far as I can tell) have a single documented fight with anyone. He does have a good line in BS and fortune cookie philosophy, though.

@@baldieman64 just cause someone does not have a competitive fight record, does not mean, they don't know how to protect themselves or teach something of value.
@baldieman64
@baldieman64 Год назад
@@DAIXINYI Did I limit my comment to "a competitive fight record"? No. I don't think I did. I personally put more store by experience of real violence than organised match fights. There are, of course, lots of valid reasons to train, that have nothing to do with violence, but I have yet to find a martial arts school that doesn't claim that what it teaches is effective for self defence in order to get people to sign up.

If Stephen Hayes has not figured out what a ninja is by now then the chances of him ever knowing must be beyond his understanding. Stephen Hayes will go to prison for his crimes against innocent people or war will be declared.
