@@boxwoodguitar3618 where do you buy your necks from ever build a guitar out of sumac? Always wanted to see a guitar made from sumac wood here what sounds like? Ever make laminated guitar or just all solid wood?
@@briansmith9698 I have a source ebay where I purchase necks. They are cosmetic "seconds" from a major guitar manufacturer. Email me if you like and I'll send you a link. I haven't ever tried sumac. I don't know much about it as a tone wood. I have made a few guitars with laminated sides with really nice results. I prefer to stick with solid wood for the tops and backs.
