I love how chat goes from “Man, how does this get billions of views? Kids will watch anything” to becoming seriously invested in the plot and analysing it

All this has proven is that the children yearn for Gmod. No matter what generation they will always end up going back to Gmod

I was pessimistic going into this. "This is gonna be dumb, this is gonna be stupid". But unironically, this has me looking forward to future developments. Concept aside, the creator knows how to progress long-form storytelling in short-form content. Fantastic.

What I find so fascinating about it is that it is actually telling a (admittedly weird AF) developing story, but without words, just animation. Also the back and forth between the factions developing new methods to combat old ones is actually creative as hell. All that, for what started as a weird AF meme.

Pretty much the only thing I find funny about the skibidi toilets is the fact that with the way gmod models work, there’s almost definitely a super tiny body just t-posing inside of it

Honestly the whole series just feels like an inescapable fever dream

People say it's stupid, or that it makes them feel old and stuff but this honestly feels like something that would have been just as likely to pop off 10-15 years ago

The funniest thing about this series is not even the original intended comedy. It’s the fact I’m legitimately hanging on every word lud says because why on gods green earth would a head inside a toilet want to take over the world.

Honestly I just think it's cool that Garry's Mod animations are back in the mainstream of RU-vid again. There was so much fantastic and charmingly weird content from the early 2000's era when GMod was at its height of popularity and it's cool to see some of that pop off in 2023. Didn't know what Skibidi Toilet was before this vid but it's genuinely just good content

This feels like the plot you make up as a kid playing with toys. Insane story, movie references, high stakes situations and "easy" answers, reoccurring villain/hero themes, etc. In that way it's actually well made, lol

This weirdly helped me out big time. I'm a father and my kid started rambling about Skibidi Toilet stuff to me a while back. I've seen some of the Roblox games including them etc so actually seeing the shorts and the lore has made me a whole lot less biased against it. Plus the TV men are low key fire.

After watching this stream, I'm more interested in the lore of toilets than I should be..

while perhaps i am too old to truly enjoy Skibidi Toilet for what it is, it brings me immeasurable joy that the next generation will be raised as i was - with confusing and disorienting gmod animations. i hope that 5 years from now some 18 year olds are going "yooo do you guys remember skibidi toilet???' just as i do now with, whatever inane shit i liked at 12. and the world will continue to spin. beautiful

The best part is that, despite most of the views probably coming from kids who don’t really know what they’re watching, it’s not mindless. It’s cohesive, and it has at least some amount of thought put into it, at least enough to make it as bizarre and perhaps tense as possible. It’s to the point where you can watch it thoughtfully, instead of just turning your brain off.

I watched it myself a while ago, it made little sense, but Ludwig giving it a little more clarity got me kinda invested

It's much easier to discern the resistance as opposed to different variants of the skibidi toilet race but here we go Resistance (Guys): Cameramen - A strong force where quantity helps them win, they use robust tactics and have a weak defense but their tactics can almost always guarantee a kill Titan Cameraman - A seemingly "One titan per variant" being, this is the peak performance of a regular Cameraman with much stronger abilities Plungermen - an upgraded/evolved version of the Cameramen, these utilize plungers to stop the attacks of skibidi toilets while they flush them Speakermen - A strong knockback force that can provide massive AoE strength, though they are weaker when dealing with single targets Titan Speakerman - Another titan version of a Speakerman, they utilize multiple speakers to deal a wide AoE damage Scientistman - The innovators of the resistance, they have the ability to utilize the technology they make to their highest potential, they also create inventions like the de-parasite gun, the speaker drones, the TVwomen, and probably made/helped with all the resistance units (Unsure if/where their titan variant is) TVmen - A strong new variant in the resistance force, expensive to make and are strong in comparison. They have the ability to utilize the de-parasite gun with their TV head, aswell as remote control small skibidi toilets similar to the parasitical skibidi toilets Titan TVMan - A titan version of a TVman, this advanced variant can utilize both the TV abilities and have attachments they can add to make them hybrid. Okay so I went back to skibidi toilet episode 5, and you may think this is just a filler, but if you really think about it, episode 5 may be one of the most important episodes ever because it show the people at the nightclub, vibin, and accepting the skibidi toilets, with the skibidi toilets even starting to have Human and cultural jobs, like the skibidi dj. And this acceptance of skibidi toilets, causes a need or wanting in people who don’t want to accept these toilets, to cause a rebellion, those being the cameramen!

It's beter than I thought. The fact that there are only small story elements in the series, which inspires the viewer to theorize is also cool, but the plot with the toilets is a bit too much for me personally. But I do get why people like it, and I think I'll still watch it, because the series definetely knows how to hook people.

My daughter has been obsessed with Skibidi toilet since early May to the point where she would tell her friends about it at school in Kindergarten before summer break. I partially blame myself for laughing and smiling with her while she was laughing her ass off.

I’m so glad that Lud finally got into the lore of Skibidi Toilet.

on one hand, it's interestingly executed storytelling with fantastic focus on invasion, aftermath, and weight of actions. on the other hand, it is incredibly difficult to see from the perspective of an outsider that it would have that. and on another weird third hand i've developed from watching all of these, i don't think anyone thought to take something named "skibidi toilet" seriously in the first place. in conclusion, i think DaFuq!?Boom! has a very in-depth understanding of media and its consumption, and through this we might just have more people take less things at face value.

Anyone intrigued by this, you saw the set up only. Everything after this gets increasingly good. Episodes average 3-5 minutes, lots of characters, big fight scenes with a lot of stakes, and the plot is getting more complex.
