What is Spyro's Future After the Remaster?

I'm curious how the game will evolve over the new games if they happen because lets face it you can't keep the game exactly like the first 3 otherwise it will grow a little stale on people but maybe that's just me.

shinx 08 hmmm, I don't see skylanders having a major cult following and a lot of people who liked skylanders when it launched hold a vastly different view of the series now. To state simply skylanders was a cash grabe taking advantage of a boom in the toy market. I compare it to the guitar hero franchise as it had a similar rise and fall, with there being one difference. That being guitar hero still has a place and a cult following thanks to content creators and moders wile the toys to life industry has completely colapsed with skylanders on top of it and mostly unable to have any real mod support or the backing of an adoring community to provide it. Add to it that skylanders is an expensive game series do to how much product you actually need. I highly doubt it will come back and I really hope it stays dead. There's way better game series that are far more deserving to make comebacks in the future. Also I mean I'm not going to call it a spyro series because spyro and cynder are just playable characters with nothing else, so really just cameos like browser. If anything skylanders might last a wile with the Netflix show as that it has been outright better in every way when compared to the games it's based off of, and wile there's throw away episodes it's still entertaining.

Noir Renard indeed Skylanders was trash. I didn’t care for the skylander series. They made Spyro look like a joke by deforming him and made him ridiculous. The originals were the best and the legend was good but nothing surpasses the original.

Jon Nieto ya I'm a fan of the OG series and legends. I feel legends is under appreciated a bit. Did a lot of things the series hadn't done before and opened a lot of possible door ways for it to go, sadly it went to skylanders. I'm really going to enjoy the reignited trilogy though. Pre ordered it the day it was announced.

That's the one game that desperately needs a second attempt at touching up and improving.

Enter the Dragonfly... seriously i'm not sure if this applied to others too but in my opinion it was just way too hard to play for children. Or i was just dumb when i was like 7. But neither I could beat Crash Twinsanity, because of similar difficulty.

They should make an actually good Skylanders game.

it definitely wouldn't be a bad thing to bring in some other characters from the other Spyro games although bringing in some characters from Skylanders would seem unlikely not that i'm opposed to them bringing in any character it's possible though that this could be kind of like a new start for a new continuity or a new version of the classic continuity

TCG Yordy Some of them were meant to appear in Spyro's Kingdom even before Skylander was thing... So they are not that unprobable, especially considering that some of them have really interesting design and abilities that will only expand the variety of Spyro's world.

It would at least make all fanbases happy well except for the die hard classic fans xD

I'm a big fan of Classic Spyro, And as long as it plays like it, I'm game. I'm already hearing shit about textures not being 100% correct or some nitpick here and there.

Same, I really only care about Crash, Spyro and other 3d platformers. I have PC. I just avoid those over hyped, photo-realistic on-a-rail TPS to be honest.

Oh I'd wait several years and buy one used from someone the way I did with the PS3 and PS$. And of course I'd buy other games for the console. I'm just saying, if there is no future for Spyro, I will have no motivation to continue buying PlayStations.

true Spyro 4 and Crash 4? I hope they take a look back at Hero's Tail and Twinsanity because those two games were really great, but had some flaws. (Mainly Twinsanity was rushed so much that it was left with less than half of the intended content.) While those 2 games qualify as the "5th" in both franchises, I think they're way better than Enter the Dragonfly and Wrath of the Cortex.

Canadian Guy Eh Wouldnt that be awesome?! Toys For Bob creates a Hero's Tail feel for me in terms of architecture so I'm kind of excited. I wouldn't be opposed to having new games for the franchise especially because it'll give us a new feeling when it comes to Spyro games.

I imagine it will be the same thing they did for Crash. You pick one of three games on the main menu. Three games, one disc.
