Great breakdown! There is so little content out there for true beginners. All the "beginner" coding content out there assumes you already know how to code and you're just "beginning" a new language. Very comforting to hear the SQL is the first and perhaps only language I need to learn. I actually somewhat understand it unlike every other programming language 😅

LOVED the use of Lego in video. I work with youth and use Lego to teach elementary and high school. The simplicity is brilliant and now feel I have better understanding of SQL.

For someone interested in databases and starting from just interest not any real Life computer experience except from graphic designing (Adobe Illustrator), what advice would you give for me learning enough languages to land an ENTRY LEVEL job? In short, what would be a 2nd complimentary language to make me marketable?

Thank you for "dumbling" down the content for us novice coders. I was watching a Python coding video where they were using SQL "lite" and I was confused- not having ever studied SQL. Watching your video, I see the need to learn the language- at some basic to intermediate level.
Had the same thought. I was talking to someone who knew basics of databases and SQL. In some cases, there actually isn't much difference when using lite versions of SQL. But outside of that, what I gathered is size and capabilities separate SQL from excel. SQL databases can be massive in size, where excel cannot. Also the ability to automate population of a database via some type of forum a person may fill out. Obviously, you can't have someone fill out a SQL database row by row, you'd need to automate that somehow. I'm sure there's much more too.
This was extremely helpful and the analogies made it much easier to absorb the info. Working in sales I would never imagine myself having to know this but here we are thank you so much.
