After being around the modern day Salafis for 25 years now in the UK, travelling to study abroad with their scholars and spending time around their students and reading their books, I’ve seen so many inward fighting between them. It didn’t make sense as they claim to be the true real Ahlus-Sunnah wal Jama’ah. The opposite would be the People of Bid’ah and Firqah. And they don’t give much attention to Tazkiyyatu Nafs/Purifcation of the Soul which your video was about. But after seeing so much infighting and splits amongst them past 25 years I thought well they surely must definitely be upon some types of Bid’ah because they are so split amongst themselves and keep splitting more and more every year. So I decided to research and ask Allah SWT to guide me and let me accept the Haqq however it is. My past 3 months of research has led me to realise I learnt everything wrong. I wasted 25 years of my precious life. I’ve deprived myself deeply. I can firmly say that the real Ahlus-Sunnah wal Jama’ah are the Atharis, Asharis and Maatureedees in Aqeedah. The 4 Fiqh Madhabs in Fiqh. And the Pure Sunni Soofis. Jzkl Shaikh for your gems on explaining the 3 major issues the Ummah is deprived of since 150 years and the 2 levels of Ih’saan, Mujaahadah and Mushaahadah. Salaah ud-Deens generation came about from Imam Ghazaali and Imam Abdul-Qaadir al-Jeelaani. The famous Hanbali Maqdisi Imams were upon the Tareeqah Qaadiriyyah and so too the family of Taymiyyah including ibn Taymiyyah. In fact he explained a book of Imam Abdul Qaadir al-Jeelaani in his Majmoo ul-Fataawa. We live in a blessed time of Pure Authentic Traditional Sunni Mainstream Islaam revival. I don’t think the Salafis have a future. The amount of material being translated and lectures and scholars in the West is going to finish them off and they will try to be even more harsh and strict in the rulings and boycotting and cultish behaviour to have a last effort to survive so that they don’t look stupid and ignorant to them then lose their following and positions and status. I’m going to ask you all to make Dua for me in my efforts to keep researching and gather key findings into a booklet summarised with the most important books and lectures as the sources that explain more on the details. Then get it looked over and finally give those out to the more sincere and open minded shuyookh and students of the Salafis in the UK and abroad in person. I’m sure if they sincere and read those sources they will rediscover and return to the Haqq. Otherwise I only see them coming in the way of much good for the Ummah. Today the Ummah is being prepared for the Reviver/Mujaddid leader who will lead the Ummah around 1500 Hijri. 50 years away and Allah knows best, but I hope to rectify myself and play a humble effort in that revival to redeem myself for how deviated I was and how many I taught to be deviant and how many I labelled as deviant in my past wrongly.
