I'm new to red wines. New to wines, period. Been a beer drinker most of my life. Now in my mid 40s, I've recently started exploring different wines, and started learning about the different varietals - and what tastes good to my palate. Just bought my first Tempranillo, and it just hits home for me. This video was very helpful in learning about my new favorite wine. Thank you!
This grape is excellent! My favorite wine at the moment is mostly tempranillo, and costs about 9$ I would love to see you review Puerta de Plata Reserva 2013... Its 60% tempranillo 40% grenache. This wine comes from Catalunya and has never disappointed me! Cheers and stay healthy!
Well done, I'm really getting into watching these short tutorials. Great way to break down the wine with the picture examples. Looking forward to your next episode. Thank you
That was helpful - Tempranillo must be one of the most versatile grapes through ageing & oak influence - I'd be interested to know how bottle ageing develops flavours esp with Reserva/Grand Reservas 🤔
