On the top of your engine where it usually says it’s a 5.0 or a 5.8, this piece is your upper intake, Plenum or your upper intake manifold. This piece is connected to the lower intake manifold. This is where the air comes from the intake and is distributed evenly to all of the cylinders.

I had a 5.0 in my 95 f150. Wasn't running good anymore, did a compression test and didn't pass so I swapped it with a 5.8

Fix or repair daily, garbage ford motors blow spark plugs out also in my f150 and lincoln. BS BS BS

IE: if it’s the 2004, 2006 3 valve you should be torquing/inspecting the spark plugs every oil change or every other whatever works best for you if it’s the 2005, 2007 the ones that snap the plugs you should be doing the same thing only adding lots of anti seize and to prevent the plugs from snapping immediately after you just drove the truck for idk 30-40 minutes you should use an impact, if you’re not that fast you should be rocking them back and fourth loosening and tightening
