@@brettvandermeer5297 which is itself a reference to the lyrics to "Head-cha-la", "Kyouryuu ga Itara Tamanori Shikomitai ne" Translated: "If there's a dinosaur, I want to train it to balance on a ball"
@@VeerleTakino Which just begs the question of why that's a lyric for the theme song of a show about martial artists beating the crap out of each other.
Btw, for reference, some quick searches and rough math puts a gallon of LSD at about _15 MILLION_ times the dosage that would be expected to put someone in the state we see Popo in and about 3 million times the dosage where we would expect someone to be unable to think, have their entire visual field taken up with hallucinations, and be unable to walk. Just some crude estimates in case someone was curious about how extreme a dose that is.
You saw the bird in one of the movies you covered earlier, Revenge of Cooler. Goku was knocked down and a bird landed next to him dying. He picked it up and went SS and the bird came back to life. He called it Toriyama and told him to got teach that dinosaur to ride a ball
i know i'm late to the party and you might not see this, but: in japanese (anime) culture, gun= bad (17), sword = good (trunks). that comes from japanese tradition being sword fighting, and guns are imported from the west (outsiders) and most people don't own guns. in pop culture it mutated into swords having a positive connotation and guns a negative one.
Piccolo can actually go super namekian, it makes him grow in size and power. But as a result it brings him to great pain while trying to use the form. That form also quickly drains energy so there is no point in using it unless its a finishing move. He may go into it sometimes at the end of a fight to finish it off but the move is too painful to use mid-battle.
incase it hasnt been explained anywhere else yet Akira Toriyama is the creator of Dragon Ball Z and the jokes about dinosaurs and balls are from the Lyrics of the Japanese Dbz opening theme the one thats goes CHA-LA HEAD CHA-LA the lyrics goes something like "if theres a dinosaur left in the melted ice Id like to teach it to ride ontop of a ball"
I kind of forgot how hard it was to conceive of a better fight than SSJ Goku and Frieza. Then Cell showed up and we were like “okay.” Buuut the Abridged version of Cell is the best. Creepy Cell is my fav, while Perfect Cell is flawless.
