First of all: great reaction, Temperance is my second favourite band after Delain so I was quite pleased to find a reaction to them. To answer your question: Temperance consists of 5 people: The short haired man singing is Marco Pastorino, he is also playing the guitar. The other male vocalist is Michele Guaitoli, he also features in another great band, Visions of Atlantis, alongside Clementine Delauney. His girlfriend, Alessia Scolletti, is the dark haired woman and the third vocalist. Completing the lineup are bass player Luca Negro and drummer Alfonso Mocerino.
Good choice. Temperance doesn't get much attention. Another relatively new Italian band that is good is Frozen Crown. You might also like the Bulgarian band Metalwings and the Austrian band Visions of Atlantis.
Ancient Bard is also italian i think, and needs waaaay more attention. "In my arms" is just such a fantastic song. But also all their other stuff is great.
adding to that, Italy is (along with the Netherlands) probably the best country for Symphonic/Melodic Power Metal. Temperance, Moonlight Haze, Ancient Bards, Frozen Crown, Volturian etc all are good and underrated bands with quite exceptional singers, namely Alessia, Chiara, Federica, Sara and Giada. In my Arms by Ancient Bards is truly a special song. What I'd also recommend is Nanook by Temperance And Lunaris by Moonlight Haze
Awesome reaction! 🤘🤘 Just saying, the song is about how one can look at the concept of _change_ -- where, if nothing else, _change_ is the last hope, in a world full of hopes, because if nothing else, change means, ideally, becoming better than you were before.
Actually, I would recommend Disenchantment, Black Flame, Alga, or Jinnslammer. And I know that Ignea, particularly Helle Bogdanova, would appreciate the exposure through a reaction!
I have never heard of them. They're quite good imho, I like the voices and the drums. But especially the melodies feel very familiar, to me it seems like a mash up of three popular metal songs (couldn't tell you which ones though). Thanks for the introduction :D
