What is the Baby Lock Dynamic Walking Foot?

I love this walking foot I have 2 of them one for my sewing room upstairs and the other downstairs!

I've been using this walking foot for a couple of days now to quilt my latest quilt. The one problem that I have with it is that the screw that holds it onto the shank loosens up while the machine runs. So you have to remember to tighten that screw often while sewing. Other than that, I do like this accessory, especially the stitch in the ditch foot. I use that to follow the lines that I have put on the fabric and it helps to keep the stitches straight.

I’ve owned this foot since it came out I and learned more it from you than I thought was to know, especially about the second package being available! I had to buy this walking foot yesterday because the original walking foot (as awesome as I thought it was) was just not giving me good results all the time and I knew it was the foot and not me. After watching a couple of videos on it I'm not sure I'll ever take it off! I do mostly quilting and after using it on quilting and binding a baby quilt yesterday I am no longer worrying about the money it cost. It's worth every stinking penny I spent, this tool is a game changer. You can also stitch in reverse with it and it does a much better job with decorative stitches.

Best tool I ever bought for my soprano! Actually bought the brother brand which is exactly the same as the baby lock only because I don’t have a baby lock dealer close by.

Now I know how to justify my purchase

just got this foot and I found I had to adjust the thread tension to get a good stitch. The only problems are that sometimes I get loopy stitches, and also in reverse mode, the top stitches get wonky after about an inch. ANy advice?

does this foot allow reverse stitching?

Chris, would you use this foot more than the digital dual feed foot?

I tried to use the dynamic walking foot on my Crescendo and the foot wouldn't go completely down on the stitch plate. Do I need some kind of extension ankle?

I looked on babylock site and it doesn’t show my Allegro as a machine that this foot works with. What would work with my machine since I didn’t get a walking foot with the purchase of my machine?
