Magolor was the first video game character I had an attachment to, and the quirky character mixed with a design that incorporates cogs(my favorite design choice)drove me to dress up as him for Halloween once. I just found him endlessly endearing, and I loved every aspect of him and his ship. I was scared of wispy woods of all things, so I would never go on to fight him. Never knew he had such a cool fight. I do, however remember rewatching the cutscenes of the oars being added on over and over as a kid. Good times.
I got some more facts about this game 1: You probably received this comment before: Magolor is NOT from Halcandra. If you talk to him on EX mode (after getting 120 energy spheres) for a third time, he will admit this, then he will eventually reveal his dream of opening an amusement park. The first time, he will reveal that this “incredible power” used to construct the Lor Starcutter (probably related to Astral Birth Void) also created “Clockwork Stars” (Galactic Nova and Star Dream) , along with items that “bring dreams to life” (the Star Rod from Kirby’s Adventure: Nightmare in Dream Land). The second time, he will reveal he knew all about Kirby before meeting him, and says he knew someone who fought Kirby in the past (probably Marx from Kirby Super Star) 2: The song playing in the fight against the Master Crown is called Mistilteinn, Tree Crown without a Ruler. Mistilteinn translates to Mistletoe, a parasite that feeds of trees. This is fitting because the Master crown not only brings out the worst in you, but, according to Magolor soul’s flavor text in the true arena, consumes your soul. 3: Kirby uses his original animations when he gets a super ability during the fights against Traitor Magolor and his EX counterpart. Also, if you immediately give up your super ability when you start the fight against Magolor Soul, he will skip his Black Hole attack. 4: There are pause screen texts for Sphere Doomer, Sphere Doomers, Sphere Doomer Ex, Sphere Doomers EX, and True Arena Magolor Soul phase 1 and phase 2. 5: Not only is there a new animation for when a Super ability opens a portal, but in EX mode, the wall closes in on you faster, and you don’t get a Maxium Tomato after beating the Doomer. 6: When you destroy the volcano in 7-3 using Ultra Sword, there is an effect when it crumbles afterwards. That wasn’t in the original. Also, when destroying the tree in 1-4 using Monster Flame, it immediately burns and falls off screen. In the original game, you could destroy it in sections. 7: Scattered Souls across Isolated Isles (from Kirby and the Forgotten Land) sometimes plays in Magolor Epilogue. This makes sense because it is actually a remix of Another Dimension (the music that plays when you go in the portals). Also, I have a Kirby theory of how Fecto Elfilis is related to Astral Birth Void, but that’s another topic. Hope you these facts in a future video!
I would actually disagree with the Rampaging Doomers' placement, the fact they're so chaotic and with many elements on screen to pay attention to is why I like them, they're actually one of the tougher fights! Both for myself and for quite a few people as far as I've seen on playthroughs. The fact they pose a challenge at all is the reason I like them.
I mean they are supposed to be more chaotic thats why they are called “rampaging” doomers. I mean i know hes not rating difficulty but I think extra difficulty is fun at least for me
An Arena featuring all the versions of all the Bosses (expect Magolor): Phase 1: Battle 1: Whispy Woods Battle 2: Mr. Dooter Battle 3: Gigant Blade ---> King Doo & Bonkers Battle 4: Fatty Puffer Battle 5: Kibble Blade --> Moundo ---> Water Galboros & Dubior Battle 6: Goriath Battle 7: Sphere Doomers Phase 2: Battle 8: Whispy Woods EX Battle 9: Gigant Blade EX --> King Doo EX & Bonkers EX Battle 10: Mr. Dooter EX Battle 11: Kibble Blade EX--> Moundo EX --> Water Galboros EX & Dubior EX Battle 12: Fatty Puffer EX Battle 13: Sphere Doomers EX Battle 14: Goriath EX Battle 15: Metal General Phase 3: Battle 16: Electricky Dooter Battle 17: Fiery Puffer Battle 18: Hydriath Phase 4: Battle 19: Grand Doomer Battle 20: Rampaging Doomers Battle 21: Grand Doomer EX Battle 22: Metal General EX ------> HR-D3 Battle 23: Crowned Doomers Phase 5: Battle 24: Landia Battle 25: Landia EX Battle 26: Lor Star Cutter Phase 6: Battle 27: Master Crown Phase 7: Battle 28: Galacta Knight Final Phase: Final Battle: Magolor EX --> Magolor Soul
@@kirbystar0796 great now for music for the intermission rooms: Phase 1: Nutty Noon 3 Phase 2: Item Room Ver. 3 (Kirby Fighters 2) Phase 3: Ordel Doors Phase 4: Dangerous Dinner 1 Phase 5: Dangerous Dinner 2 Phase 6: World 4 of Magolor Epilouge Phase 7: Same as for Galacta Knights Final Phase: Internal Struggle
I really wish they added the Magalor's epilogue boss mask to the game. I've used Fatty Puffer mask all the way through my normal playthrough and in EX until i got Puffr EX, but i really love Fiery Puffer colors.
Master Green used to be a Mini boss that would give you the Spark ability after defeating him. But just like how the Fire Lion was replaced by Flame Galboros he too was replaced by Dubior. Best guess more of a challenge fighting a robotic UFO drone over a electricity Jellyfish monster that throw stars.
I remember when I was playing kirby's return to dreamland original, I was fighting against metal General EX and I inhaled some rockets wich I swallowed and I was gonna get a random ability and got sleep out of nowhere and got killed by him
I agree with most of these! Might put landia/landia ex lower since they were trivial for me and never got past half a dozen attacks, but still a pretty based tier list
All the bosses in Kirby’s Return to Dreamland Deluxe are really fun like Whispy Woods, Mr. Dooter, Fatty Puffer, Goriath, Metal General, Landia, Lor Starcutter, Magolor EX, Magolor Soul, Galacta Knight, Metal General EX, Magolor Soul EX, Sphere Doomers, The Grand Doomer, and The Master Crown all of them are all really fun but the music for them so really good like the Roar of Dedede theme from the Metal General EX sounded awesome, Fly, Kirby! from the Lor Starcutter sounded great, Under My Control sounded really good, C R O W N E D is one of the best songs I’ve heard from the soundtrack from the game, and Galacta Knight’s theme was really good. And from the final boss fight against The Master Crown I noticed it used one of Marx’s attacks which was dropping little seeds which grows into tall branches now that was pretty cool but it was really sad that we didn’t get to see Marx as the final boss from Magolor Epilogue like it would be cool but I guess they just don’t want to put him in the game and make him into a mask.
I personally put the rampaging doomers much higher they maybe not have veraity in type but the fight is frentic and don't feel unfair at any moment really
I agree with the magolor EX placement. Another very morbid detail that I noticed was in the true arena the soundtrack is laced with sounds of Magolor, as if he's screaming for Kirby's help to save him from the master crown's control.
There should be 3 endings (technically 4). The story mode ending for beating the main story mode, the extra ending for completing the extra mode, and the ending for Magolor Epilogue. The 4th technically is the 100% bonus video for 100%ing the game
@@averagegamefan3312 I assume it is. There isn’t a cutscene word for word called secret ending but I assume it’s the extra ending for completing the extra mode since both it and the main story have different credits
My favorite boss is probably Crowned Doomer. I already love the Grand Doomer (it’s also the main mask I wear), and the Crowned Doomer has a really cool design and some neat attacks. Everything about it makes it really cool
Hm, what an interesting list, i wonder what kind of Boss Battles we’ll see next? Also, do you think we’ll get Deluxe Variants of other Kirby Games too?
The best boss battle in my opinion is the Master Crown, As it was a boss we've (kind of) expected to battle in the Magolor epilogue. And I swear, the shape of the Master Crown's tree form is THAT close to the Deltarune.
@@theenderkirby like mecha. You can just easily crouch and attack SUPER QUICKLY when either He does this long punch attack, or he is charging this giant water bubble.
@@mateuszczyzewski9646 well if you skilled enough you can kill him before he can do a punch first have a charge up laser shot, throw fireballs when he break the first floor and when you land pull the laser. Get to where you can below him and shoot fireballs don't go to different locations just stay in the place, if you didn't got him in his wall jump section go below him finish him off in the waterballs section. When he go to second phase do the same thing as the start, perform the shock knuckle laser combo, get to a location to use fireballs and he dead
Very well made list (no surprise Magolor Soul made #1). Now I wonder if you will rank all of the copy abilities in this game, or throughout the series like Ant Dude did.
yea honestly the magolors true soul in the true arena is by far the hardest kirby boss in the series in my opinion and to be honest i really like the dark grand doomer over the original seriously the second phase in the original isn’t everything unfortunately but that’s just my opinion i hate how much crap people talk about the darker version over the original when it’s better than the original in my opinion by a ton actually but anyways enough ranting awesome video keep up the good work my friend
