@@UNSEENaverge no problem. 2013 draft is probs one of the worst in modern day history. Only noteworthy players for me would be Lane Johnson, Travis Kelce and DeAndre Hopkins. Just a very weak Class in total
1989 draft was pretty impressive (but maybe too top heavy). 4/5 first overall picks (Troy Aikman, Barry Sanders, Deion Sanders & Derrick Thomas) made the hall of fame, won multiple Super Bowls, and were consistently some of the best at their position. And the 5th of the top 5 (Tony Mandarich) was one of the biggest busts of his era, so you got a bit of everything!
You ever thought on posting reviews on some famous football movies might be fun. Still the best overall draft for me was 1998 most talent at varied positions
I think 2011 has to be the best. I think there’s 10 guys there who should have no problem making the hall of fame: Von, Watt, Julio, AJ, Pat Pete, Kelce, Sherman, Tyron Smith, Cam Jordan Cam Heyward
1983 was by far the best year to draft a Quaterback, a position so rare to have them even being a FRANCHISE QB. I think 1983 takes as the best draft class.
@@FanGirl9463 ok Now that’s just Insulting, everyone just loves to hate on Good teams… I get it that people love the underdog but that dosent mean you need to actually go out and hate a team for being good…
Great video. I’ve seen a video on a draft class…1983…but I’ve not seen the comparison done before. I want to watch this again but I agree 1983 was the best draft.
Do a video about the 3 teams with the most #1 picks in NFL history and whether those picks were a bust or made any impact. Love your content bro. One of my favorite sports commentary channels. 🤟🏽
It’s obviously way too early to say this, but the 2021 draft class is already looking like a future contender for this list. 11 out of the first 14 picks already look like hits, with the potential 13/14 hitting if trey lance and justin fields pan out zach wilson really trying to stick out as the jamarcus russell of this draft tho
Very well presented with data High level of enthusiasm and passion really engaging Quite original idea for a video that is interesting and that doesn't really have anything similar to it out there You keep this standard of quality in 2 years this channel may be around 200k subs
The best way to rank the classes is to cap off the years that had 12 rounds to just the first 7 rounds (so everything is about equal) and then just look at the density of hall of famers (and Pro bowlers if you will, perhaps 5 to 10 points per hall of famer and 1 point per pro bowler). I mean just looking at it 1983 had 8 Hall of Famers (the most of any and is definitely an anomaly) 2 that were QBs, so its pretty clear 1983 is the best. C'mon its got Marino and Elway, AND Eric Dickerson.
The 2011 Class has 700+ sacks, just a reminder. Five pass rushers have 100+ sacks. Ryan Kerrigan has 95.5 sacks too. Cam Heyward, at DT, has 78.5 sacks.
I remember 93. Because that's when I was born, lol. Probably around draft time as well. Born on the 25th and at least the last few years, the draft has been happening during April so if it was the same in 93 then I was born around draft time.
Even Trent Dilfer has more super bowl rings than Dan Marino. (I don't think Dilfer is better, obviously, I just think this is one of the funniest facts about the NFL)
